Here's a basic overview of Juno Beach.

The river in the left is pretty important, the town area doesn't have to be too detailed, or that big.

I'll draw up a basic paint version of the map later.

Honestly the houses should be sloer to the beach. What you've termed Shingle in the drawing would be a Seawall.

All these drawings your doing still give a stupid high edge to the defenders. The garrison-able houses are on their side of the map and the Allies are funneled upon exiting the beach. While these qualities make for a real life fight they won't make a very good map.

The map still has to be fair for people to play it. A bad map doesn't get put into the module file.

A named bad map is no different

Can you post any pics that show sorta the beach shape width and town areas?

Anyone give me a run down off existing 3v3 sizes?

Yeah calbanes, I mean - some people like smokaz are still yet to win a single game, even though they've been around here for years.

That video shows how close the buildings are to the beach at one of the locations.

I'd find some more stuff but I don't have time right now

It could e a seperate map entrirely.

Cours Town.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Ok here be my view. Like the lay out like the idea. However, as I see it if the offensive team cant push up or gets pushed back they are garrison raped by the deffense. So if this is desired to be made then bunkers will be boom. buildings close to the beach will be boom. so that means offensive team wont get beat down by garrison. Will also look at the Gold Beach post. Valexandes and I will be colaborating and working on either one over our break from university so hopefully around the new year we should have something decent to show Cheesy

How about doing the same orientation as Gorks map. You can have all the realistic features on the map, but play it side to side to make it balanced and playable.

you mean like on normandy or like on omaha beach? because on ohama beach the spawns are on the wrong sides of the map.

what do u mean by wrong side of the map, ally fought from  sea to land not land to land,so u like it or not allied started the attacking from the beach thats why the spawns r there where it should be....if its not EIR based map then that is another story Cool
