just balance via price. caching is silly imo. we had unit caps and taht didn't work and had to change it. this is the same thing, it'll goa way eventually as well.

good idea in theory but in practice isn't working (like command and conquer 4)

There ISNT meant to be a WC cost to all upgrades.

Just give Groundfire some time and I'm sure he'll fix it, but in the meantime it's probably a good idea to increase the total cache points so that people can at least play the mod.

I think the problem is that its become apparent that this isn't a fixable item. The real problem is that the other game modes are not back in, combined with a lack of addressing what the real issue weapons were.

The weapons cache only hurts balanced companies, i have seen some good ideas (and bad ones) in here, like Skaffa's after X amount of bars and incremental cost so bars become 90 +(10Y) where Y is the amount of bars over X.

What smokaz is saying is not that 6 LMGs = 12 LMGs.
What he's saying is that the utility gained when buying a 6th LMG or a 12th LMG (one extra LMG in the entire battalion) is exactly the fucking same.

To understand easier in maths terms(assuming knowledge of basic calculus):

U=2x

dU/dx=2 for all possible values for x.

Simple fucking as, why do you guys not understand basic maths?

P.S., incremental compounding costs was voted down. I cant remember why, but this is what we got instead.
