I've always wanted vet 3 ccts, but they seem to gain xp very slowly.

Pair them up with Comets and go infantry hunting.

Also, I've come to realise that A vet 2 Firefly with a vet 2 CCT can snipe infantry shockingly well. From experience, It's about a 30-40% success rate, which is quite significant for a Firefly. Had one get about 20 inf kills without crushing any inf, was pretty lulzy.
