I've seen this done several times by some veteran players and i've done it accidently.

Does anyone want to share how to "power slide" to make it easier to crush with tanks.

and if there are any other veteran things you'd like to share, post 'em here!

Move along the side of the squad you want to crush 'Herding' the guys into a small group until the tank is slightly ahead of the squad and the guys are 'bouncing' off the side of the tank to avoid being squished.

Once your at this point, make a sudden sharp turn into the squad and then sharply again in the direction you've come from after you start gumming up your treads.

Also, another veteran trick which can be used in a pinch is extending the range of most tanks by 5-10 CoH units depending on the weapon. Force fire right at the edge of the unit's max range and let the scatter roll right over your intended mark and into the unit. Works particularly well for low scatter weaponry or long range weaponry, such as ATG's or Fireflies. If your vehicle micro is top notch, you can consistently get standard Tigers and the likes pulling off cheeky last second out of range hits. Sometimes it can be the difference between crippling or destroying your escaping target.

Extending your units range is a gamblers tactic and doesn't always pay off. It can very quickly get your unit killed if you don't hit stop right after you've fired the attack ground round... However, it's pretty lulzy when ya pull it off. Brownie points if you do this through a tree line and get a Pershing to lolwut a Marder at 45 range through the trees.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

Its kinda hard to explain.. If I were new I dont think I would have managed to do it. I think its easiest to do when you can reach mach 3 on a road.

PRO TiP: Trying to crush riflemans usually results in a sticky.

Obvious tip is obvious.

PRO TIP: Aimed at Gorkhali. Falls are hit and run units, they are NOT a mainline infantry unless you devote your doctrine towards putting them in that role, even still, they will NOT beat a BAR sqaud 1v1 unless you arrive to combat first

having alot of any type of infantry is...hard to call spam, id more or less say that you can only be called "rifleman spamming" as an example is if you bring on 25 pop worth of rifleman as an extreme example, more then once. But having lets say 14 falls sqauds and only calling them on, in groups on 2, and only have at most 2 sqauds on the field, is most definatly not spam

Spam is a term used by people who had a near loss or loss, and want to try to lessen it by saying that the tactics used were "gimmicky", "Over powered", or "Spam". Its more often a form of poor sportsmanship then anything else.

Heck, if you bring out more than 2 they call it spam. Just 3, or 2 and a 2 man squad "omg spam!"
