Easiest way is to have it stand next to a Priest. Second way is to keep it around Light vehicles or a cromwell and most of all KEEPING IT ALIVE!

so it DOES get vet from sitting by other units?  Because I've done a fair amount of killing things with it next to my fireflies, and havent seen it hit vet1 in a game yet, but then, it dies every game, so who knows...when I get a priest perhaps I'll try it.

Keeping CCT's alive and using them efficiently is something of an art tbh.

You've got to find the balance between using it as a forward scout, shot absorber and buff provider.

Keep it ahead of your Firefly but behind an active shot blocker so it provides sight and buffs, be ready to block enemy armour that goes for the rush and always repair it if it gets to a third of it's health.

Tbh, you wont see it get much exp when coupled with a Firefly purely because the Firefly rarely kills units itself. It picks them to pieces but more often than not something else will snatch the kill. If you want to grind exp on a CCT, consider following a Churchill Croc like a lost sheep. If your not RSE, go for Cromwells. Churning up infantry is a good way to go tbh.

2 stags and a CCT. get that thing to vet 2 in one game haha. kinda wish the aura was bigger however. is there a doc that provides that ?

Call it on and insta retreat it for 178 games in a row  .
