I've played Allies for years and years and barely touch axis. I can hop on a WM account, especially Defensive, and have a fucking easy time. Considering how little I play and how bad I am...yeah, there might be an issue there.

players that focus more on winning will use what helps them win the most and if they're all playing axis, then it's safe to assume that axis is easier to win with. or more fun to win with.

Axis is more fun still. Wider variety of useful units, as well as units that you can get attached to such as the heavy tanks and elite infantry.

To win as Allies, you have to let your stuff die to win games and cannot afford an emotional attachment to a unit.

The play style is just different, not better/worse. Allies have to be more aggressive, its a mindset difference. The axis just have more and specialized units. Allies have workhorse units that do more jobs.

As to the axis combining all 4 players into a boarstusk and smashing your spreadout line in the middle, that is just called initiative and localized superiority and it is kinda how attacks succeed no matter the units. 4v1 is good odds for an assualt.

i kind of agreed. especially seeing how really good allied players deal with some obnoxious axis super power units. But all the same maneuvering allied players use im sure can be done regardless of faction.

But its like saying hey allies is balanced because you got to play in the most obscure way that 80% of the players never really played before. While axis is pick up and go.

who will win? 10 dudes with machine guns or 1 guy with a pistol. Well its balanced if that guy with a pistol is Steven Seagal.
