the stag was changed to mainly tackle infantry and challenge lv's, which is why it was given canister shot while the stuart is a tank harasser, LV killer. It seems like good changes to me. Let's use 'em in game before we start arguing how "bad" they are.

Another nerf for US AT capabilities?

How so?

They're pentration increases although incremental, a small fuel hike and fuel is lowered for all 4 medium tanks.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

Commando doctrine is working with a decrease in MP cost for Commandoes? Thank the gods.

10% fuel increase for 2% pen increase that doesn't even help at close range.
while indeed, all axis tanks are cheaper so allies need even more AT

on top of that the reduction of acc against inf.

were people that afraid or incapable of handling a m10/m18 spam?

Based on current trend there will be ATG price increase, sticky price increase, another m10/m18 price hike and panther/p4/tiger buff next patch. GO

For some reason I can't post using my normal account; but I wanted to take the time to clarify a few points.

First, whenever make major unit changes we price the unit conservatively. Pricing can be changed without a patch, so it's our bes way to control new changes.

In regards to the Stag and Stuart changes; I think some people may have glanced over the changes without really understanding what was done. The stag main gun recieved a major buff overall. It's target table accuracy versus infantry went from 0.5 to 0.75 for starters. It's MG is superior in every way to the M8's in addition to not losing it on criticals. It performs slightly worse versus armour in comparison to the M8 to compensate. Overall, the stag perfOrms significantly better versus AI than the M8.

Please also note the Stuart's target table accuracy versus infantry went down from 0.5 to 0.4; it gained a similar gain in penetration however. Additionally, it's bonus damage was extended to wehr targets as well as PE. Overall it got a fairly large buff to AT and a smaller nerf to AI.

The pricing of the M10/18 is under review and may be reverted if the other changes have their intended affect.

While everyone is QQ about changes they dont like based on thier biased and so on and so forth, maybe we should just wait and see how the patches work ingame rather then just theory craft about what we dont like. hmmm

For the most part the TD/Medium changes don't change a whole lot, other than make you want to take more ATGs.

88/ATG changes will have to play out, that was one of the only ways to counter it if you don't have offmaps, smoke and flamers...

Stag change to be a worse M8 makes no sense, and the Stuart is worthless shit.

EIRR does the warmap, patches are put together by the balance and coding teams.

and in regards to some of the changes, soem of them are dependant on how it plays out gameplay wise. Go out, use them and then report if it's OP/UP or just generally crappy.

Going on about stats before its been used in game is counter productive, all changes go thru a lot of discussion before being implimented.

the 88 changes were...weird. I dont understand that one but

as for the TD changes, those weren't put in to necessarily "nerf" but to make it so medium tanks can be used more cuz atm, they're always overlooked for heavier stuff because of price per punch.

Now im sure its more useful to take a cromwell at 200 over 220.

take 5, its only 1000 instead of 1100.

Ok? And what are you going to buy for that 100fu?

That's where pricing matters, you could make the Sherman slightly cheaper, but if it doesn't buy another one it doesn't matter at all. If I end up with the same number of vehicles because of that, pool, and manpower restrictions how does the "buff" actually buff anything?

For pricing changes to really work you need to look at how it allows a composition to become better because of it.
