That doubles the chance that there are 9 guys are staying in green cover and one idiot who's trolling around in the open field and your squad gets instantly supressed. -.-

It irks quite a lot when playing Dawn of War with Imperial guard. 12 men, 5 only takes cover no matter what you do. - if you are lucky that is...
But yeah hopefully a cover system that enables 10 guys to perfectly seek for cover.

Modify the reqeust of the cover status of a entity. Instead of requesting if any member of a squad is in red cover, request the status of every single member of a squad and calculate a new average cover value for the squad and add specific weights for each cover type. Then compare the new average cover value with some thresholds. Something like: Green/Green/Green/Green/Red = Green; Green/Green/Green/Yellow/Yellow = Green; Green/Green/Green//Yellow/Red = Yellow; Green/Green/Yellow/Red/Red = Red;

Wel they said new improved cover system, maybe that problem wont exist and your men will bunch and be taken out with a single mortar.
Or russians may be weak and hard to suppress but be alot.

Or Better: Instead of calculating the resulting cover type, make a LUT for every infantry entity and compare the actual status per member with this table to determine the cover status of the whole squad. It's a bit of work for larger squads, but you can balance each squad seperatly.
