Ima give it to you plain and straight, no bs, all the regulars are gone 90% of the community we used to have is gone and all the veterans left behind are leaving because people wont play with them irregardless of who they get on thier team unless the other team is guaranteeed victory, Playing with friends these days=2hours of wait time for a game becuase the word stack is used and thrown around more often then aeroblades dignity (), and 90% of these new guys dont even last a day becuase they dont bother with
a) Tutorials, they get into game and thier name is wrong, they say theyre going to change it, never come back, and theyre gone in the launcher, never seen again
b) Dont have vent and never show up

Stack battles have become extinct as so many of the good players have left its really hard to catch enough good players on at once to make one, everybody else just screams stack and runs away to go stomp some noobs in another "easier" game.

another big issue is definatly Day-z Dota2 and Diablo3.

one of the problems ive seen is that people see new guys and go to stomp them, they dont offer any help or advice or explainations of how to get to the game, then when the new guy doesnt turn up they rage at them in the launcher at the new guy leaves.

the amount of times ive seen this cycle is frustrating, lately with the influx of new people ive made sure if someones new to explain to them how to get to a game and how to find some help if they get stuck and every time ive done this ( at least 10 times in the past few days) the new guy has made it to the game and they have been able to in future and they have stayed around more than a day.

so if youre going to wasnt more people to stay just help them out and be nice. it really does work.


Also stomps and stacks. if people were willing to try balance games and allow new guys on better teams so they dont always lose people would be more inclined to play. from what ive seen people say they want balanced games then they are unwilling to balance the games to allow worse players on there team, they will only play with there friends. surely more fun to play with and against friends in an even game than having a 20 minute stomp? im not saying its wrong or bad to play with friends just that if people were more accepting of new people it would really help grow the mod.

no man you can't change people's mind by convincing them with arguments, people change their own minds by finding out stuff themself.

i got better at coh by rewatching my own games and learning tactics from other players by watching replays, now who of the current casual brigade would even stoop to do this once? ppl just dont have a real interest in the game anymore
