0.8.0.A-1 Notes

Warmap specific
- Warmap territories added w/colouring
- Warmap sector types added
- Battle/Event system added
- Neutral sector system added

Launcher GUI specific
- Delete company button replaced

Misc
- 1v1 forcing now only takes 1 player

0.8.0.A-2 Notes

Warmap specific
- Battle brief hover descriptions added to sector info icons
- Sector event descriptions added to sector info icons
- Changed sector info icon graphics
- Sector view added
- Battles added to sector view
- Sector info added to sector view

Launcher GUI specific
- Hover over lag removed, should now no longer 'spike' your CPU when hovering
- Hover over glitch removed, should no longer show a tiny empty hover square
- Hover over for buttons improved, still a tiny bit bugged
- Formatted text now supports horizontal lines
- Formatted text now supports absolute text positions

0.8.0.A-3 Notes

Warmap specific
- Deploy/Recall actions implemented
- Action status buttons (Attack, Support, Defend) implemented
- Sector view now shows territory / type
- Supply mechanic introduced

Misc
-Modified data transfer for most warmap actions (for a more streamlined process)

0.8.0.A-4 Notes

Warmap specific
- Battle results now affect sectors
- Default action for warmap
   If no warmap action has been selected, or you have not been deployed before a battle, you will automatically defend (And deploy to that sector)
- Doctrine points are now displayed on the warmap

Launcher GUI specific
- Battle results now show after a battle
  2 phases:
  1st. Shows the battle result and gives the ability to choose Tech, Doc or Bonus points (Which boost your next warmap action, 20% per point)
  2nd. Shows the allocation of points (and in the future, the warmap cards you recieved)
- Add PMs to chat
  Left click to select a person to PM
  Left clieck a person again (anyone) or the icon beside the cursor to turn off PMs
- Added additional info to chat player info (AFK, In Battle etc)
- Ranking removed from battle display (irrelevant)

Misc
- PP is no longer gained as an individual
  PP is now dictated via the Doctrine points system of the warmap.
  PP is currently set to 500 - to emulate the rank 9 we had previously
- SP is no longer purchased
  SP is now dictated via the sector you are in, and how far from supply you are
  SP is set to 5 if you do not have Warmap access
- A lockout system has been added to allow me to patch, but disallow people from logging in
- I accidently deleted all of the Advantages, oops

On one of my accounts I can't select a doc ability

basically, 500 pp limit doesn't seem enough.

Im confused, only sdt can see the warmap, so why implement changes that heavily effect player-playability to those who cannt use the warmap? Unless its comming shortly. Im really liking the idea of 500maximum Pps, just not without the warmap Tongue

It's the only way to properly test it. Cant test the warmap in an isolated environment.

Ahh kk, thank you for clarification. Just a suggestion, the advantages should be reduced to the same prices of the T1,T2,T3 doctrine unlocks, so it can seem more like you have a choice between the 2.

Couldn't you have 2 builds? With the test one connecting to a test environment that is exclusive to the Dev orgy?

Shouldn't be that hard to run 2 instances of a database and so forth.

Did we forget we are still in Beta........ You are the test enviroment

More importantly - we do not have the resources to create a second environment - and frankly 2 or 3 days of bugs is not going to make the world come to an end.
