So while taking a really, really long time ending this one turn in ES, I discovered EIR people like blood bowl. As a tabletop person I really really like Legendary edition but never got REALLY into it as there was no multiplayer accessibility for me.

People exist who want to do BB league, maybe?

PM/ post or talk to me about it on vent! They're yelling at me to press that button again, gtg.

I'm down, I love that game.

I'll start up an EIR Open league and if we get enough interest we'll do a season league.

The issue in the past is people that will actually show up after the first few games, so if you are interested I expect you to show up to play your opponent some time within a 3 day period, if you can't leave a message on the forum so we know whats going on and can decide whether or not to just give the other team a win and continue on.

Because this is the OTHER GAMES forum, and I play with EIRRMod and a lot of other people. This is more of a community forum than an EIRR the mod forum.

I didn't say EIRR is bad. I said it is bleh. It's been stagnate as far as game play goes for a long time. After 7 years of more or less the same thing it gets a little boring.

Funnies thing that ever happened to me in blood bowl:

I was playing against a nurgle team and they had this horrific chaos spawn with several lethal upgrades.

Late into the game it stumbles whilst trying to do a break-tackle (using strength instead of agility to dodge). And guess what...it died and then failed his regeneration roll, leaving this monstrous star player permanently DEAD.

The odds of this happening is...astronomical to say the least, requiring something akin to 4-5 continuous rolls of 1s on a 6-sided die.

For opens it shows the ultra league, which has a password, and the open, which won't let me apply.

Yea.

Figured out here is how we can run it.

The Open league is for new teams only, it's your source for seasonal teams. That means no teams from outside of the play environment.

Seasonal games will use one of your teams from our open play league, and we will probably play it as one turn per week so that people have plenty of time to show up.

What this does is give us an ongoing league play for a cup, and an open play league just for fun, but that still allows you to grow a team for our "competition" play.

If you would like to go through the effort, a short report from each game of the season would be nice.
