Ok so lets have a warmap suggestions thread now that we have warmap.




1) Would be cool to see where everyone stations in the warmap.

Ya, as of yet you have to click on the province and then it shows you whos been there.  It would be cool to have like a rollover effect where it shows who on your side is where you know?

Unfortunately, because there are hundreds of companies deployed at any one time, this function will not be implemented.

Perhaps a separate page for friendly player statistics? Fitting it into the warmap itself would as you rightly said, be impractical.

Maybe even a search function kinda like the intelligence page. It lists the recent 5/6 games but you can search for earlier ones if you have the number.

Maybe then there could be a 1 icon on the sector representing players in that sector, and when you roll over mouse or click it, then players name appear in a box with a scroll function.  Like this:

The problem is that the sheer quantity of players wouldn't be able to be shown in a single little pop up icon.

Once people are into the warmap proper, there will be as EiRRMod said, hundreds of player accounts in a single sector at a time.

For example, I personally have 6 accounts all sat in one sector that are all Allied atm. Now if we take a hot sector like a fuel sector where everybody is taking a stab at it... You've got about 20-30 players there, likely with about 3-6 accounts a piece so people can cycle through their favourite doctrines whilst still contributing.

Fitting that onto the warmap page itself would get *Very* messy.
