Bullshit to all of the above

.
I now bought the game and it is the most innovative shooter to have come out yet
gameplay-wise. The graphics aren't just adornments to the game, they actually greatly enhance the game's gameplay because of its insane physics.
Nothing is cooler than shooting a tree to have it bend/break over and kill a enemy, then unleashing a bunch of logs down a hill is also grand.
The nano-suit attachments are ftw.
COD4 and Crysis are like opposites, COD4 is all about cinematic heavily scripted missions, while Crysis is one huge sandbox.
I must say though, the sniper mission in COD4 was absolutely amazing.
Problem with almost all the COD's is that the missions are completely predictable. Most of the times I find myself restarting missions to find a "special" place where I can kill all the enemies I am facing, since they always come from the exact same places. Crysis does not have that problem at all. "Dynamic" simply does not exist in COD.
