f the panther was a dedicated AT unit I'd expect it to outperform a firefly in pure AT ability given it costs 130 more fuel, but it doesnt, a firefly and cct will fuck it over in a hartbeat and even with the CCT the firefly comes out cheaper.
Notice how you use the comparison firefly vs panther but then add the cct later. The 14 pop of the firefly + cct and the price of both is closer to the truth if you wanna compare. And then it ain't so advantageous?
The firefly can't operate in front of handheld AT though and expect it to bounce. The skirted panther can. Firefly has to worry about upgun puma taking it down, p4 taking it down, infantry ht taking it down. Panther can just lol at most AT fire

No, I was lazy smokaz, that's the only reason I left those parts out, I have no problem comparing those two together since fireflies and cct's go hand in hand anyway.
Cost -
CCT/FF is still 65 Fuel less than the panther
Armor -
It has 10-12.5 more range than the panther with a the CCT for a reason, scout for it and anything other than storms shouldn't even be in range it in the first place.
Lone panther/P4 -
Block with CCT and Kite the sucker, use the 60 range... and even then, and y u no support sniper?
Clowncar HT -
y u no support your sniper? It's still a bitch to deal with for sure, at least those shrecks are expensive.
Puma rush -
Y U NO SUPPORT THE FIREFLY TANK SNIPER!?
Sure, a well executed puma rush can take down a firefly, I've done that quite a lot myself and lost some to clowncars, but properly supported she can also survive it, you know whats similar? 2-3 M10's can rush a panther in a similar manner, without support it's as dead as the firefly.

The officer is considerably better than a riflemen squad at carrying weapons.
Officers have good accuracy so they will hit most targets.

30 pop in M10s and 660 fuel to kill a panther. 16 pop in up gunned pumas (140 fuel?) 24 if you want to bring three at 210 fuel that will phase and dodge at fire until the firefly is most likely dead. An m10 charge costs more, and is usually harder to pull off too. The m10s die ridiculously fast if theres even a single shreck squad or a pak nearby, while the upgunned pumas just laugh as at fire misses them. The idea of an m10 charge being similar to an up gunned puma charge is silly.

Who the heck takes puma rushes seriously? I'm sure people will laugh when they see that happen. When 3 M10s comes though, then people know that one of their own tanks will be dead.

Because a forum post should be like a woman's skirt. Long enough to cover the subject material, but short enough to keep things interesting.

Speedy clearly hasn't seen a 3-4 Upgun Puma rush with Blitz activated.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.

At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

depends in support around it. someone tried to do that to my teammate but i had an atg and piats near so one puma go thit, atg took out gun, thats 2 vs 3, pretty much over then.
If 3 50mm Pumas gets on a fireflys butt 3 v 1, its over for the firefly without support.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

I wonder which unit has more effective health through modifiers and armor of the m10 and the upgun puma - my bet is the upgun puma.

WITHOUT SUPPORT

Puma's phase some AT, but certainly not all of it, tanks stand an above average chance of hitting pumas and more so with the brit shite... What I'm saying is, you'll likely be able to fend of the pumas if you have proper support, even if there are 3 of them. Just like you can fend of M10's.
