115 MP and 195 fuel left over in a fresh defensive company placed in capital sector of warmap.  I'm sure once I move to a resource sector it will be even worse.  I added the 3 pumas shown in the picture at the very end because I had nothing else I could spend resources on.  They don't have repairs.  With the advent of the warmap, resources have gone up.  Pool needs to be removed or increased to realize the new reality.  Right now I can build companies like this repeatedly over several different doctrines.  Its very frustrating.

Whats the problem? Your running out of pool? When you buy expensive things like 2 panthers, you do know it is supposed to do that, right?

Why do bars on AB rifle cost a total of 7 pool?.

It doesnt make sense at all, so they drop from the sky pfft. They drop 60m from where they are supposed to.

What I'm spamming is irrelevant.  The point is I filled up 3 pools and a decent amount of the 4th one and ran out of pool but still had resources.  Pool needs increased.  I shouldn't be forced into using certain units simply to fill out pool.  With the increased amount of resources the warmap induces, the pool totals need to be increased incrementally as well.

Also, Panthers are the most efficient use of my armor pool, the other tanks take up MORE munitions for an equivalent amount of pool...mostly due to the fact that Panther repair is only 60 munitions for some reason.  I'd say 80 would be better, but thats not the point of this thread.

Probably has to do with the panther pool increase which was a little excessive IMO

Just because the F price is double doesn't mean the pool should be too. That's not how pool cost is measured or calculated. Let's not go into this further.

How is pool price calculated or measured then, unknown?

I was always under the impression that it was created under the general rule of "some guy arbitrarily set it to something and nobody important complained too much about it". Of course I might be mistaken and there is a deeply complicated multi-variate function that derives the precise values of pool cost - in which case I'd love to see it in it's majestic glory.

Please don't derail the thread into a panther thread......

The OP states he can do this in a number of companies.

Why would we increase pool just because you have additional resources? You are not limiting your company in any way. You would be able to build this company pre warmap with advantages.

So you get some additional bonuses and can not use them with this particular build - so what? You make it sound like you are being handicapped in some way.

Crazy - you post is crazy.....

Close..... but not quite.

A group of 8 people discuss it based on other comparable units and values. There is no magical calculation. Just a lot of comparisons and discussion. If a mistake is made, it is reverted. If the pool is not enough, it is raised.

No conspiracies or behind the door tricks. Just a group of knowledgeable dev members making the best consensus they can.

Isn't that the point of pool in the first place? To force you to use other units than the ones your spamming?

No doubt there should be some pool tweaks here and there though.

I'm not being limited?  I cannot spend all my resources because I am OUT OF POOL.  That seems limiting to me.  As it is, I changed my build and there seemed to be some sort of ninja change last night to pool values, so its fine now, but it is frustrating.  Building a commando company is the worst offender here by the way.

I have nearly a pure commando company, and i have not felt this.

I assume you use support weapons?  Try building a mando company without them?

And your assumption fails. I expect nothing less though.

You have left over resources and no pool because the resources are now higher with the warmap. You are not limited anymore then you were for the last 1.5 to 2 years of this mod.

yes so if resources are now higher, should we not adjust the pool higher to adapt to the new situation?  Its not like this is a temporary thing, the warmap is here to stay as far as I know?

But most of us are able to easily work within the constraints of the system.

NO.

It is not beneficial to the mod or game play.
