Sectors look iffy to me. If you start on the left, bottom (in the orientation) you are at a disadvantage as the first 3 rows of sectors only grants you 4 total sectors. If you start at the right, top the first 3 rows grants you 6 (because of the 4 across instead of 2). I also worry about there being 4 across as that's going to turn into a capping game on the outside sectors...

The thing is though, if you look at the distances, you'll see that by the same time the right side player gets his hand on 6 sectors, the left side player should have gotten 6 sectors aswell. This leaves one stroke of 5 sectors in the middle to fight for.
Might make some adjustments, I'll see what I can do about the capping fest. I'll likely remove some sectors in the middle.

Cool . Although the map layout will still chance a little so I don't think I can end up using it as a tactical map .

Unk0wn, just played this for the first time last night. I really enjoyed it! First off, great loading screen. It looks like such a pretty town to visit And the map played well. Similar to RTC and Abbeville and pretty balanced.

Thanks for the input, keep it coming! I really need to get to mapping, I have so much things to do but I've been slacking a little as playing EiR > mapping for EiR, at the moment at least . (I always have spare time during the weekends but unfortunately no computer available to map on)

This is a pretty nice map, Apex and I played it last night...
Unkn0wn, one thing I noticed about your maps, is they lack any height changes.... they are all extremely flat. Any reason why? I think adjusting this would add a lot to them.
That said, your maps are still awesome... however this one seemed to play alot like RTC to me...

Probably has a lot to do with me living in Belgium . (Just on sealevel, woot!) Abbeville is about the only map with some real heightmapping and even there it's pretty minor. It's holland though, below sealevel and incredibly flat, you should go there sometime... but I will definately try to add some more terrain in future versions . Also, the later versions should feel somewhat less like RTC, it should be less open overall than it is right now.

Great map. The loading screen was beautiful (no preview screen though).
The detail and sector layout was awesome as well.
However, I do have a few critiques, despite it still being an excellent map.
First is that it is very defensive. It is easy to tank trap areas off and because the width of the map is covered by only 2 sectors in many areas it means that it is quite easy to hold. Additionally, the number of buildings from left to right and the decent lane ways make it a very good AT gun and hmg spam map. If I was to correct this I'd make some buildlings have less or no windows into the key areas and I'd remove some buildings. Also, I'd put something blocking some of the main pathways and add in some sectors so that 2 across the width was not the common situation.
The defensive nature of the map is probably the only major complaint I have and it is preventing me from wanting to play this further.
Other than that defensive nature problem I really like this map and it is personally one of my favorites. I like using it when I am attacking and think I have the advantage to make things a little more even.
