It's worth noting that Wargame: European Escalation is currently 75% off in a steam sale which will end in about 26 hours or so.

Yeah I've been following this.

I like what they've done with all the numbers. (Hellfires and some Ground attack missiles have AP of 26-28!)

I like that weapons actually display suppression values now. and some of the in game models look beautiful.

I think there is a French tank with ERA modeled on it and it's sexy looking.

They've got Sweden, Canada, Norway and Denmark as fully playable factions, outside total war and the HoI games this is pretty much a, well, odd one, lol.

Well in the beta it was only 4 premade decks per side.

Polish infantry squads are 15 man units.

I can't wait for the Canadian AT units. Sure it's not an ATGM but it's a dedicated Carl Gustav squad. The units that got CG's in W:EE were such rape.

Pretty sure it's the only faction that gets the top attack ATGM, even if it's only a partial one. If they even put it in.

Finlands army has always been cheap, i mean they were epic in ww2 and equipped with the blood of  their enemies

The thing about our army is that it is just dreadfully inefficient and the constant budget-cuts doesn't help, completely fucks up the plans and organization every time it happens.

The size was also the only good thing about the Swedish Empire. The economy was a mess and the military mostly consisted of german mercenaries. Although it was probably pretty great to have England and France always asking us before they'd do anything, so as to not upset us and our military might.

Yes, but you have to consider that the leftist parties want complete disarmament. So in this case, they're still the lesser evil. But yeah, it's a shame considering their history of putting the army first.

Ohhh god. That pictures is the summary of Canada's gripe with the government. Best part is its a conservative government that scrapped the plan.

Basically it was an interceptor that would have made Canada the aeronautics leader in the world. And we trashed the plan for some shitty missiles that still don't work.

Ohh they also destroyed technical specs and production models.


In regard to wargame:ALB I'll be getting it as soon as I can. Planes are ok I guess but the inclusion of smoke makes me hard.
