Also the game isn't instantly hosted, someone has to actually host it in Relic so make sure you are on vent and talking/listening to the other players so you know who is hosting the game and when. |

Hey I just want to know if I have a problem...
I have, I guess, the latest version of EiR:R (just downloaded it today.) I have auto-updater v. 1.05 and all that happens is that it tries to update but it says: " Could not download file list, Please try again later."
I just want to know if its my computer or just to many people updating and what not...

We had a server downage a short time ago, hopefully that was the issue rather than something else.

I want to share solution that fixed my problem of updater crashing. Try setting on/off compatibility mode on updater icon. That to this not subtile method, I managed to come back to EIRR.

I cannot install .NET Framework 3.5 for the life of me... I tried all that stuff, I tried from Windows Update over and over but it won't install and the Live won't install it. Maybe it's a problem with HP? That's all I can think of.... *Edit: So I got 3.5 installed finally. I used a .Net Framework Tool that took all of the registry stuff out too and then I reinstalled all of the .Net Framework stuff, even the Framework 4 Client, but the EiR Launcher still won't Launch. It gets through the checking for files, but when I click Launch it pops up with an error. *Edit: Launcher now works, after I did all that I installed this again. So now it launches.  |

This means that it cannot find the download list, and is usually caused by using a proxy. If it is unable to WRITE the file however, it is a permissions issue - and you need to let the autoupdater have admin rights for whatever OS you are using (Vista is the main cause for this particular point) |

I just did a system restore to try to get my sound back. That didn't work either, and now EIRR won't work. Can anyone help?
