I have played 26 games in the period from 21.07.2012 - 29.09.2012.
Additionally I don't need to play much games to see what's going on. I check several times this forum and I can see how many people are in the chat, how much battles are played and how much battles are waiting and checking the replay section is another indicator of the played games.
Today we are at battlenumber ~11.5E3. At the 21.07.2012 we were at battlenumber battlenumber ~5E3. The difference of this is 6.5E3, and divided with
3 (equals 3vs3 games) means they were ~2E3 games played in about ~0.7E2 days which is a value of around 28 games per day.
If you count all the rehosts, crashes 4vs4s the real average games per day count will be a bit lower. (2vs2's will higher the number)

I think ahnungs has a point that updates bring all the regular players back but the problem of not being able to keep new players will remain the same.
Thanks - Long story in short!
Edit: Crap. Made a misstake. Time period is lower then 100 days.

The website, and the community is currently hostile (mostly). Full of trolling, insults and rage.
The increased moderation is a way of showing that we will not do that anymore. If you want to be here and join in the fun, by all means, but follow the rules - and just be fucking NICE to each other. Build up excitement rather than dissention. Id rather have a couple of people playing, who respect each other, than a fucking pirrana pit of trolls and assholes.
I like this. I'll come back and play, hopefully my internet at school can survive it.
I love the mod quite a bit but it is definitely full of good players and can be very frustrating for bad or middling players. Although I doubt anything can really be done to fix this as you would need more people playing so that every one is able to get in a decently evenly matched game.

I wanted to comment on this specificially. There is SCAR code that OMG came up with to show the current/max heath numerically in the UI bar. It's from that old ToV operations mode and could very easily be adapted here. It's how they get around this problem. You always have an exact idea of how much health your tank has. (It also works with unit experience)
I have the tutorial if you'd like to look at it Che. I think it would be an easy addition.
Then why wont OMG show it in their mod? I mean, it would certainly help I think.

The officer is considerably better than a riflemen squad at carrying weapons.
Officers have good accuracy so they will hit most targets.

We must also think that in OMG, anti tank isent made of gold like it is in EiRR. You also cannt get 6 shermans, or 3 jumbos. So one tiger, is like your baby, that thing dies, its gone, that was most likely, your only peice of armor, in eirr, tanks have no value, whereas anti tank is the Gold of eirr.

Uh, my first company in there has 1 Comet, 1 Firefly, 1 Command tank, 2 25pdr's (Without them I could fit another comet or firefly) and a pair of stuarts... That's not as little armor as you are making it out to be tbh, after playing a pair of games tanks do last a while if you keep them in good shape.

Thats 3 tanks nikomas, one of which only fights other armor. If you lose your FF, thats it, its gone. Not like eirr you can have 3 fireflies. Theyre system is alot more high risk, high reward, play well with a tank, it does extremely well, fuck up, its gone, thats it, instead of "oh lemme just throw these 2 m10s at that repairing tiger, cuase i have like 4 more m10s anyways.
Im not saying Eirr is bad, its just eirr has entered the DGAF zone, where people just build lol companies and troll, becuase everything else has been done.
Versus eirr, where having 4-6 tanks is not unheard of. In not saying its a bad thing to have 4-6, im just saying tank combat is very one dimensional, versus infantry combat is alot more versatile and interesting.

Yeah the amount of fuel should be reduced imo. Armor takes up to much space in eir and should really be looked at.

agreed with dnice, why should it be possible to have 2x pershings, and 2-3 m10s or shermans? Or why should you get 3x panthers and p4s? or shit I think if you take off skirts and sit on an fu point you can run 6-7 P4s.
sector bonus should be cut in half. FU sectors should be +50, no +100. starting fu should be decreased by 100. with repair kits on top of all that, it's way more armor than we should have. and the reverse should be done with MP, make it give more. mu seems to be fine imo.
it doesnt make sense that you can pretty much field armor the entire game, i feel like there should (more often) be a point where its just inf on the field.

the problem with this of course is that any fuel reduction just rapes PE

"Armor takes up to much space" is what I hear, yet the biggest upsetters in general is the amount of elite infantry (Rangers, storms, falls) fielded, now what is it? It's funny because any changes to fuel make the former even more powerful so can we have some consistency please?

agreed. If you insist on unit limitations, which I will forever disagree with, elite infantry need to be at the forefront

you can just have a lot more stuff in eirr currently then you used to before. Consequently everything is worth less these days. Just that certain people can't understand why a unit worth 60% of another unit can deal 60% of said units health and it throws things out of proportion
