Shaft people inn other countries fail to understand is that many of us prefer supporting our selves more than being sported baby the state. I have need taken state benefits even even eligible for them.

Actually, a horrible economy has been turned around in 4 years by multiple presidents so point is invalid.
Not sure what you are getting at here: "The Feds latest flow of funds report showed that American non-financial companies held $1.7 trillion in liquid assets at the end of March. But newly released IRS figures show that in 2009 these companies held 5.13 trillion in liquid assets, in today's dollars."
I never have agreed with what bush has done concerning our budget.
Food stamps is a massive problem and way to easy of a program to become apart of and abuse. I know people who are on it and definitely shouldn't be.
Personally, I feel that to many people rely on the government to be there baby daddy and that is just a set up for failure. I'm tired of this hand holding that people expect to have so they don't really give a fuck if they happen to fail. The government will be there to help me out, so fuck it why care? People used to take more pride in their work, more pride in who they where as a person, knew what tough times where like and knew how to survive. I can tell you stories about my grandparents and their poverty. You know what? They didn't get any government help and became successful in life later on. We have to stop rewarding fail, and reward progression. Obama is not for me, I don't like him, I don't like his policies and that's fine if you do, you're entitled to that opinion.
I also feel that Washington needs a complete change and politicians should not be able to make careers out of being a congressman or senator. They should have to abide by all laws that they create. They should not be able to vote for a pay raise. They should be forced to work together (which I think would happen if we got a bunch of people who where truly passionate about America). Right now it's full of assholes and unfortunately I have to go with the one I agree the most with. One that I feel would run this country better and would ensure that it would continue to run in the distant future.

China = communist country
America = capitalist country
Wanting to make sure everybody in the country gets the chance to live the American dream does not make someone a communist, it means they give a crap about people.
GOP = survival of the fittest attitude. Which I would agree with, if everybody started off equally but it's not the case, some people are born with silver spoons in their mouth.
Obama = used government money to get through school, paid off his own loans.
Romney = used his dads money to get through school.
Both are living the american dream, one fought for it, the other had it given to him.
THIS is communism.
Quote
Communism (from Latin communis - common, universal) is a revolutionary socialist movement to create a classless, moneyless, and stateless social order structured upon common ownership of the means of production, as well as a social, political and economic ideology that aims at the establishment of this social order.
Quit listening to faux news, they think anything where the government tries to help people not be bums and poor is communism.
and THIS is Socialism
Quote
Socialism (play /ˈsoʊʃəlɪzəm/) is an economic system characterised by social ownership of the means of production and co-operative management of the economy, and a political philosophy advocating such a system. "Social ownership" may refer to cooperative enterprises, common ownership, direct public ownership or autonomous state enterprises./quote]
America is slower to socialsm than communism but believe me, we will NEVER be a socialist country. Most socialist countries (that I know of) have income tax above 35%, America's is under 15%.
So please...give me a break, we pay one of the lowest taxes of any country in the world.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_tax_rates
Even in a recession, other countries envied us.
Edit: Jodomar, how old are you anyway? I'll say my age, I'm 31.

Just like a disturbing amount of Americans, Jodomar uses the word communism without having a clue of what it means. What's up with that?

I would also like to add I watch fox news everyday all day and will continue to watch it while being proud of that fact. I'm sure you enjoy your communist news network just as much.

He watched fox news remember? They have a different definition of certain words than the rest of the world. With the way Fox and it's audience use the words like socialism and communism the only logical conclusion is that they use a different dictionary than the rest of, well, English speaking world.

Ever read Jean-Jacques Rousseau? The more man is free, the more he is in chains. This holds very, very true with the American system.

Ill take chains if my own binding over those forced on me. At least I can choose which to place place myself.
I would rather work and want than live off of others labors. But I guess that is a personal choice.

China is NOT a communist country. Not even close. If anything they're a capitalist one-party (i.e autocratic) state with a history of Maoism. Social care is probably even worse in China than it is in the US of A and imo they're JUST AS, if not more capitalist than the West these days... True communism so far has only existed in theory, there is not a single state today or in the past that can correctly be called a communist state.

I agree. True communism would actually be a great society, it will just never happen, not without someone on top beating it into the populace.
just saying, china is more communist than america, i just hate the word being thrown around so easily.
Also, i find it hilarious that Obama is a Nazi and a Communist at the same seeing as both of those parties generally fight each other.
I wish Fox News would just go away...then again this is the company that has TMZ, same principal.
Anybody who watches Fox News and believers they're being serious is lost, it's propaganda and entertainment and millions fall for it.

What I really find hilarious about Fox News is their tagline: Fair and Balanced.
This picture comes to mind when I think about that

China could hardly be called a full communist state. More like a hybrid of capitalism with a one party system

It's not that book that's poorly titled, but merely the failure of the American government system in terming itself such.

Romney is the guy whod try to invade Vietnam again to open some Walmarts there. While Obama pretends to be be the good guy but totally fails at it.
Pick ur choice.
