This is the best thing that can happen to this game.
At least it will give Relic the time to polish the game more and maybe more features will get added (crosses fingers!).

I'm waiting for ANY game company to make the most ballsiest move and make a German Campaign in any World War 2.
I mean FPS. There are few piles in RTS where you can play as the Germans. (I wish Company of Heroes 2 had that option)

You know, there'd be little wrong with playing as the Germans in an FPS campaign, so long as you were a part of the main Whermacht, and not thrown in with the SS.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

To be perfectly honest, playing as someone in the SS would actually be interesting if done right, not very pleasant, but interesting. Could have the character you're playing go from "For ze fatherland" to "What the hell are we doing..." as it went on... Then again, horrible subjects in games noooooooooo

"You can always count on Americans to do the right thing—after they've tried everything else." The officer is considerably better than a riflemen squad at carrying weapons. Officers have good accuracy so they will hit most targets.

Instead we get the typical "All Germans are nazis enough said" stuff which gets old after 1 game.

Red Orchestra 2 has a german campaign.
Most games are made in the US and it wouldn't be politically correct to portray their former enemies as a people struggling to be reunited and reclaim lost lands, impoverished and humiliated by the treaty of Versailles. You never see the other side of the story because victors write the history.

Sharks are not monsters Henley, they are cute, cuddly and misunderstood. They love humans. sometimes they love TOO much. They love people so much that sometimes their kisses separate people into two flailing pieces which are consumed by other sharks in a frenzy of peace and joy.

Red Orchestra 2 has a german campaign.
It did indeed, but if I remember correctly, It wasn't exactly a story telling campaign. It was more like multiplayer missions with bots.

I know it was not perfect, but I was thinking more "spec ops the line" and less red orchestra/battlefield.
