People seem to overlook that some doctrines give really good buffs to infantry when they operate near a halftrack.

To sum up. You can go ahead and use the infantry riding Cromwell animations and set it up, it would look real nice, i mean fucking nice. Seeing the soldier laugh and shit whilst riding a majestic beast. But only for the cromwell. And they won't be able to fire either.

Fucking nice! This fits perfectly with my RE bottom T4 suggestion. Don't be an insipid moustache wearing sockhead volsky

I've ran a totally mechanised company a few times before as Armour with HT's. Pretty fun to use, and a HT .50cal + A Rifleman squad actually puts out a pretty neat amount of damage to anything but upgraded infantry.

Bit heavy on the vehicle pool though. Runs quickly into the reserve, especially if you want some dedicated armour... Could be worth looking at the pool price of HT's tbh.

My fault. BobSmith put the pool price up when I used 15 halftracks as my anti-inf in my airborne company.

I miss french countryside, the only map where you would ever consider getting halftracks just to get your troops to the frontline.

The problem is that halftracks cost 220 manpower which is almost as expensive as a grenadier squad. It would be better if halftracks were cheaper and had less combat effectiveness so that you could use them to transport troops and flank enemy positions etc.

We need to get those sectors fixed. I loved playing on that because it felt like warfare...

Or keep their combat effectiveness lower the cost and make them more vulnerable to small arms

Or keep them the same, and include them as an upgrade for normal infantry squads at a discount and inclusion as Infantry Pool instead of Vehicle...

Dats PE, nuh WM or US.

US M3 halftrack has a better gun than WM and British one.
WM Halftrack has 2 MGs, one at front, one at rear and better suppression
CW Brengun carrier has just a bren.
PE is build around HTs and are a different matter altogether.

I think the Wehr is better halftrack then US.

I mean 2 guns is nice and the 1 gun the US have turn slow.

The CW is shit though. sluggish turn speed no turret shit damage hardly any supression.

its nice that units can shoot out but it doesnt matter since the units inside need to be buffed by the LT/CPT to be effective. we all know brens are meh without officers.

It is entirely on one's head. Wehr HT has suppression which is its best feature. US one deals the damage.

British toy only has a brengun as it had been said and a single bren was never the greatest thing

he just hides in the background everyday for the right moment. For the moment to attack someone as fast and brutal as a croc. And then to disappear as fast again.

You would still get cheaper access them for transport purposes.
