Now that we have Warmap cards in, we can finally start thinking about adding more of them. Why? Currently, as we can all see, the shop will eventually start flooding up with reward units nontheless.

So let us think for a moment. Do we just want to have more and more reward units in there? No, it would grow out to be a drag. Let us come up with new and extra ideas. For instances:

Extra Offmap card. Use it to aquire 1 extra use of offmap. It wouldn't be a bad one, then let us also tinker with toys we already have in our hands.

Veteran unit cards. Aquire veterancy (fixed ammount) for 1 unit. This doesn't have to be just a XP bonus, there could also be veteran units in the cards. Veteran Grenadier squad A instant vet 2-3 squad. Veteran tank crews. Vet 2-3 Sherman, vet 2-3 P4 you name it.

We can also deepen it some more, make it, more fashinating as well. A captured enemy tank as a card? No, maybe, but I'd say no. Cross-faction units. PE incidentally getting a Tiger in their hands, because, why not? It was a rare card drop.

Adding more medium and low value cards would make reward units even more and more rarer. Shoot out ideas as well. Even random ideas can create something good.

So far:

-XP Boost card
-Cross-faction Doctrine and Non-Doctrine units. (I.E US getting a churchill)
-Veteran Units
-Extra Offmap
-Supply drop card
-Personal PP gain card (Upon using the company it was used in recieves some PPs)
-Global PP card (Upon using one faction gains X ammount of PP)
-Extra Doctrine Unlock (Turn based)

These are already planed, but keep the ideas rolling.

You may or may not see it in EiR:R, but you definitely see it in EiR:2

Why not weapon upgrades or unique buffs?

Use the card, apply +5 range to 1 vehicle.

GREAT! its getting better and better Smiley

but no stacked cards, 1 for a unit. Or we have sherman with 70 range lol

and i would also just add 2 or 3 range more instead of 5

This imo is stupid people suggesting more offmaps and allied Acess to german upgrades? I could see stuff like a squad of rangers getting an rr upgrade or a bren or something but not cross-side upgrades please i mean superiority is supposed to be an axis thing i dont want to fight rangers with fg42s or stg44s.

On a sidenote adding effects like +5 range is going to make it Even harder to balance this mod.

They aren't even trying to balance the mod, have you seen the current game? Right now it's just a test area for things to try in preparation for EIR:2. May as well try everything. It can't be any more broken than AB atm.

Then Maybe You should have clarified it better, but i still think more offmaps is a bad bad idea as in t4 enviroment eirr is already offmaps : The Game.

It's not really, if you try and be static, yes, it can mess you up. If you are moving you have time to dodge.

Right now in EIRR the side with the better MAX BUFFED INFANTRY wins.

No, I don't think having certain buffs for units would work as good as you think about it. Mostly because it would leave a nightmare in others mouths. Though, in essence it is not a bad idea, it is a card after all. Keep these ideas rolling.

Well we did want the applicable buffs of a unit to be visible on the unit card. But we didn't invest the required time into it. Maybe for CoH2 though. I'd be willing to burn 10-20 hours on a project for EiR2

Some  extra points  for  doctrine  unlocks  could  be  cool  aswell.
Say u  get   a  card +2 points in the  doctrine  unlocks  that  lasts 50 turns.
