Just to clarify my good sir!

Common sense would of dictated that a reward unit up for 1 gold, would have made a person think twice about what it's actually up there, for so little.

I do understand your whole explanation though. But transactions like a chaffee +400 gold for something else is usually done between 2 people within the space of about 30 secs maybe?

As far as the issue itself is concerned...

I've had Nikomas directly put a JagdPanzer onto one of Gorkhali's companies of choice, so Gork hasn't been cheated out of this mess.

As for dealing with Undeath... That's up to the SDT what happens with him regarding this, especially considering that for this moment in time he's got a free Jagd out of it.

Were this an honest accident, I'd have just got this fixed and left it at that, but Undeath defended his actions to the bone and was stubborn as fuck to hold onto his "Prize".

Scotz, thank you for stating your thoughts respectfully. I wholly agree. I was just browsing the market 10-15min before having to leave for class and saw the jagdpz up for 1g so I bought it on the spot!

I went to chat and immediately thanked whoever had put it up there for 1g, not knowing why at that moment.

Hicks, I was defending myself from the derogatory insults slung at me by the ever arrogant spartanmarine with his head up his arse. Claiming I lack intelligence, common sense, that I'm a thief, and so forth. Also the hilarity that is TigerHunters who called me an idiot for not keeping it secret that I bought it.

I DID NOT hack, exploit, or abuse any bugs or glitches or anything of the sort deserving reprimand. I did not break any rules. I merely bought a jagdpz4 that was on the market for 1g before thinking twice.

That being said I had already stated I would gladly give Gork his jagdpz4 back, I just wanted to offer a smarter way to go about a similar transaction next time. In the case that if in the future someone other than the person intended buys the unit, they don't come out and say it like I did and instead just keep it hush hush.

Again, I apologize for the confusion. Maybe the market could be improved to avoid these trading complications? Just a thought.

 You also called people idiots for posting a 1 gold unit, which you defended by saying that it was stupid to do, when you were the only one who thought this way.

Beginning your point to me with attacking Spartan whom I get along with, and TigerHunters whom is my brother, is not exactly the best way to set your own defence up. In fact, insulting anybody as a part of your opening defence is pretty much a bad idea.

Had you simply realised what had happened then said fair enough, I'll get it back to you ASAP, the entire launcher would not have lynched you. But you instead spent the next 10 minutes attempting to justify your actions rather than fixing your mistake. This kinda leads me to believe that this quoted statement above is full of shit.

The warmap, and the market, is a WIP. Which means that people have to use what methods they have access to. At some point a trade function between players could very well be implemented, but for now it does not exist. EiRRMod has to code the warmap/trading system by himself, piece by piece. It does not get done all at once.

Also telling two parties to amass 400 gold purely for a trade is horribly impractical if one of the parties happen to be broke, as it'll require around 4-8 games to amass that kind of gold which can be anywhere from a day to a week's worth of playing depending on a person's ability to play EiRR. That is not practical for a simple straight up card to card swap. It also has holes in it such as one of the parties leaving the other out to dry and being 400 richer for it, and considering what you've just pulled and attempted to justify, it's sadly a plausible concept.

My personal opinion? UndeathWrath did nothing wrong really, what he did was within the rules and not exploitive. Hell, go play eve online or some game like that for a week or two and come back, swiping loot like that will look minor in comparison. Normally people that do stuff like that are dealt with via ruthless extermination, you guys could try that instead of moaning so much. This really reminds me of some older online games that didn't have any trade systems, only way to trade was to throw shit on the ground and pick it up, some people made an art of swiping stuff that way, was funny in a way.

Anyway, I bet my ass most of you would grab any cheap obvious trade card you could if it was something you wanted and then just keep quiet about it. Because that's simply how a lot of humans are.

Niko, as a senior member of this community you should try to make things better, and helping things like trade occur safely and as people want should be something you should try to do. If you think that its funny that there is no secure trade, and that they were foolish for expecting better from the community, then i have no more to say to you.

I suggested this. How about instead of a witchhunt you ask more strongly for a more secure system of making trades? I also said I found it funny in a way, that does not exclude the ways in that it was a pretty annoying thing if it starts repeating. This thread is not constructive in any way whatsoever, witchhunts even when justified almost never are.
