No, the issue is that the Pre-Order stuff impacts the online gameplay; which it should never do. Skins and stuff are fine, they don't change how things play, and they were very nice to let us buy them separately, but the doctrines are not okay.
All it does is shuffle stuff thats already there, its not like it adds game changing units. It also doesn't deny any of it to you just trys to make an extra buck.

You know what affects the game? Locking factions if you don't have the expansion
Same thing, different scale tbh

eirr2 may be fun, but COH2 is just tiresome. So many silly mechanics, and snow is worst of them all.

Hey I like it and I would like it even more if they reverted back to Alpha standards where things died really fast.

The thing is, you can not switch your faction while already in a match, however you do have a choice of what doctrine you go for to combat what your enemy has/ is doing.
So not having a faction doesn't have the same impact on your match as different doctrines.
So have you actaully played it? Because you can only use 3 at once, meaning that it doesnt matter how many you have acces to, it's not going to give you an advantage were options for counters are regarded when actually playing. Most pre order ones are just reshuffles anyway, it's nothing you cant get anyway and they're in general not that much stronger, like that tiger doctrine.

Alpha, as people only have one play style then it would only stand to reason that you would have no care for any of the other commanders. Its not like the bulletins are locked to anyone, and those are where the real strategy lies. The different units are nice, but none of them are any real game changers.

Play style is not about playing it ONE way, it's about the style in which you play... As such you respond to certain things in certain ways, and you have your preference to what you use to supplement your army, so often other commanders are useful, but mostly you are going to stick to your favorite, just use it differently. Having variations of the same thing means you can play with the units you like, just with different supplements. True, no unit is a game changer unlike COH, but now doctrines are more of a supplement for your play style, and you grab one reasonably early to capitalize on it. So yeah, these variations are going to impact online play, and as such having them as day one dlc is bad because they will give people the edge in being able to respond to certain threats with their play style easier (plug up the holes in their style).

COH2 is like if a really hot stranger walks into your house, pretending to be your gf.
Sure, shes hot, but shes ALSO wearing the bloody ripped off face of your gf as a mask.

no smoky, I won probably 70% of my games in the beta, maybe 75%, but it just felt way too gimmicky. Russian mortars can't be counter-mortared, blizzards are fucking retarded, hitting retreat and then having your guy walk through high snow is dumb, german flame HT's are basically uncounterable early in the game, keeping units alive is actually a negative, since upkeep just bends you over and goes in dry, so many hilariously dumb end-tree offmaps that can insta-wipe stuff....I could go on. Its just not fun.

I want to ensure we have a 100% decision on the process before we do the wipe.
If not, then I wipe, then someone gets something they shouldn't, then it gets abused, then the shit hits the fan and then I ban shab.
