I'm thinking about going trough some of europe in my week vacation in 3 weeks and I was wondering if anyone is maybe up for a beer or maybe let me stay for a day.

Anyways the idea is to go from italy up to denmark and then a short stop to sweden and then back to denmark before 1st of november.
Change of plans, gonna go trough europe and be back to denmark before the first of nov.
Then gonna go a short trip to sweden.

Fucking europe is huge as fuck. Why cant it be small like iceland or denmark?
Aside from that im not sure hans
Im gonna try to be there the 25th and in hamburg the 27th. I was also planning on going to amsterdam to meet leo but as far as the train tickets cost of staying in hostels and food i am having a hard time figuring it out but i atleast know ill be in germany and sweden and austria.

It's definitely worth a go, I've had some amazing couchsurfing experiences all over the world, as well as from hosting people. And it's absolutely free.
Some golden rules though:
- write personal couchrequests and write detailed (no generic or short message requests, they won't inspire much trust)
- write plenty of couchrequests, don't expect one request to do it, people have all kinds of things to do so it's generally a good idea to write at least 10 people in a given city.
- write well in advance, some people won't be able to accept last minute requests do a few days in advance at least is standard courtesy. (there's groups for last minute couchrequests too but then your couchsurfing experience may suffer as a result, bigger chance of a shitty or boring host or whatever)
- have a filled in profile, nobody will accept somebody without photos/information. Certainly not if you're a new profile with 0 couchsurfing references.
- to ensure you have a good time, find people that are of a similar mindset or have similar interests, have time to spend with you and whatnot. If you want to play it absolutely safe you can also stick with only writing people who have couchsurfing references or have been vouched for.
