Psychoanalysis (from Greek ψυχή psychē, "soul" and ἀνάλυσις analysis, "dissolving"), is a set of psychological and psychotherapeutic theories and associated techniques, originally popularized by Austrian physician Sigmund Freud and stemming partly from the clinical work of Josef Breuer and others.
