I find controversy in this david. Make up your mind what to praise!

I do honestly think that P4 ISTs are now the only P4 that can be considered a good among Axis P4 list. Watch out that PE nowadays boys, their infantry are high health volksgrenadiers and their AT is paper but damn they got a good anti-infantry tank which they needed to properly CC big elite inf blobs.

For what it's worth I think shreks are just as trash against heavy tanks but at least RRs and zooks are great against light armour and they come on better platforms.

A lot of the vet-ability problems should be much less of a problem after we bring down exp requirements.

If we can't get the exp brought down with the next patch we put out then we'll get key abilities put back as default/purchasable.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

ok first off, simply because a panther isnt useful when there are no tanks/vehicles on the field doesn't mean you have to make it all-around tank like the other axis tanks...plenty of other tanks have this weakness and arent getting changed.  Have you ever seen a hetzer or m10 or m18 or FF try to hit infantry?

you say you'd rather have a pak than a 57mm when the lv's/mediums roll out...but the ROF doesnt matter when they can spot you immediately and thus just flank it.  Axis tanks are slower, which is why 57mms dont run into this problem as often.

I still say ISTs need to be brought down to 35 range, 40 is too much...

I've built a company to test the wirble, so I'll report back on that change once I've played several games with them.

I'd just like to point out here that when ICK of all people is saying perhaps the changes to Axis need to be toned down, maybe you went overboard.

At this point, I've changed my mind about the range buff to the tiger and pershing and whatever else you gave it to.  I think the problem has less to do with that than to the speed buffs.  Perhaps try rolling that back half a point, to a midpoint between the old and the new values?

I still think the firefly is useless in this new environment, and really never liked the 6pdr, and I've always hated piats, but I may have to try them again with the changes, the one squad ive used seemed promising, so maybe I'll have to rely on them for Brit AT...

Because a forum post should be like a woman's skirt. Long enough to cover the subject material, but short enough to keep things interesting.

LMAO (the removed pic was quite epic-- don't get why it was taken down), although neb, mortar, and Hotchkiss stuka do a fair decent job of blowing up allied AT.

I say keep the changes, but buff ATG damage by 100%, increase acc versus jeeps/bikes, and reduce their atg and inf sniping acc to nothing.  If this means increasing cost of ATGs fine.

The meta game sux ass atm, call on tiger/pershing and duel 5 atgs with whatever support you have for your heavy tank.  Tiger/persh/KT starts are the norm now.  I don't have a problem with that, but i'd rather see smaller number of atgs that are more effective than having to have 5 on field and having 3/5 bounce and slowly whittling down a heavy while it stacks 50 inf kills and im spending all my time microing atgs.

I realize this is kinda of extreme and a bit sarcastic....but this has to stop.

To fix the metagame. Switch to Defensive Doctrine. Choose Heavy Anti tank or whatever it is called a T3. Unlock both 88 and PAK40.

Replace Pak38 with PAK40. German side problem fixed. As Allies switch over to British choose Royal Engineers and choose 17 Pdr T1 unlock. Problem solved!

As USA drink it in, that's how lack of heavy ATG feels like. Optional: Buy every 76mm M5 ATGs you find and replace your 57mms with those.

Those pesky pershing and Tiger users are in for a surprise! That's how changing meta works. You find something to ultimately counter the current meta and use it until meta forcefully changes. Currently heavy tanks are pretty good and are used because people want to test them. Wait till doctrines pop in, that's when the real deals start to take place. Mobile repair 45 range pershing with double repairs? Awwyeah. Panzer aces HEAT rounded 45 range Tiger with extra +20% accuracy ontop of its accuracy buff while being able to scout for itself? Why the heck not!

Though Doctrines will be different and I hope there'll be tweaks in units as well. I still don't get why the picture was marked as unrelated as it portrayed what pak feels on the open field without its camo while lacking the vehicle rushing.

rifleman feel pretty useless atm. bar's and rifleman have pretty muched stayed the same but alot of the things they faced have changed a bit.

Elite armored storms, 5 man pgrens, which again 5 man pgren you face entire armies of and same with the storms. oaks have always been a problem for bars but what hasnt.

i would say airborne rifleman are good but for 7-8 pool for a rifleman with airborne armor it might as well be elite infantry at that pool, which for 55 health shouldnt be the case.

We sent you a PM in order to not publicly humiliate you for foolish decisions. You have chosen to make it an issue publicly so I will respond in kind.

Balance forum rules are very strict and always have been.  Giving you a friendly warning in stead of just banning you from this forum was perhaps a mistake on my behalf?

Here's how it works in the balance forums. We expect you to put on your big boy pants and have a semi productive and responsible conversation. If you can not get your point across using your big people words and have to resort to childish cartoons, then this is not the forum for you.

In other words, if you have to use silly cartoons to get your point across, then you lack the minimal skills to have an intelligent conversation in regards to something as complex as game balance.

So take a moment to gather your thoughts and then move forward with an "On Topic" conversation.

I'm not sure if the Allies are in the same boat, but I have had absolutely no issues fighting and killing Pershings with 1-2 ATGs and a tank of some kind (P4/STuG/whatever) and then continuing on to fight other things with said tank and ATGs.

What makes the Tiger so deadly? I use one, and I generally have to avoid an ATG unless it is facing the wrong direction, or setup so I can circle without having to worry about getting shot by something else. 2 57's forces me to not even engage them with the Tiger.

Now, what I do see, is a lot of people running zooks around trying to take pot shots at the Tiger, and losing men doing it. FFS, do it right, use the ATG to deal damage, and zooks to keep tanks from charging it.
