I'm going to enforce a new rule on the bug forum in order to ensure bugs are dealt with more effectively.

When a new bug topic is posted, we do not want a balance discussion on it. This is already specified in the Bug Posting Guidelines thread, but people do not appear to pay much heed to that, so I am re-stating it again now.

This is to stop people from devolving into inane discussions which do not help us work out whether or not the issue is actually a confirmed bug or not. This thread here is the perfect example of what I do not want happening.

Your first offence will result in a private warning. Second and I will call you out on it publicly. Third will result in a temporary ban from the Bugs section.

In the thread above, discussion should have stopped after EliteGren's post.

Once it has been ascertained whether or not the issue truly is a bug by an RGD developer and/or BT member, the thread will be locked.

Feedback comments in this thread are welcome.

This won't be tolerated either.

The bug forum from now on will be devoted solely to actual bugs, as it should be. Balance has no place here. All we want to know is: Is this thing broken? Yes or no?

I'm willing to give people the benefit of the doubt the first couple of times, and I'll just move the thread to the balance forum if that's the case, but after that, punishments will appear.

Yeah, that's why I changed the link, check it now.

In all fairness the AT Boys thing I can see as being a bug, it just wasn't phrased very well.

Regardless, that sort of thing is what I'll be stopping Smiley
