Please bring back the old dawn, not this bad new rework.

I don't think that you realize how bad the old dawn was. Large trees and tall grass everywhere, lots of cars and other impassable objects and the playable area being smaller than 2p_Angoville and 4p_France. This is why it what completely neglected for many years.

I think the rework has two issues: too much clutter and being too small for a 3v3. I've tried to resolve these by making some changes to the map and making it a 2v2 map. Which is IMO the only way that this ungodly creation can survive in EIR. I don't think that it's a bad map, it has several improvements over the original and if you still think that there is something wrong with it, please be concise in your criticism.

I am also bringing back Linden. At least that map was decent enough to play.

This is the original Dawn. Does it really look like a map that you want to play? Considering how picky people are about playing any other map than Neuville...

Wasn't there supposed to be a weekly map rotation? What happened to that?

Just don't let me take over, I'd randomly select 5 maps per week (RNG) and those were the only maps you'd get that week.

That was not a joke.

Skaffa makes kinda boring maps, simple and they work, but boring. If variety is the spice of life neuville is the death incarnate.

I don't think anyone is intentionally hating on Skaffa. He is just a casualty of a small minded community.

His maps are grossly overplayed mostly due to players inability to settle on any other map. Many players in this community lack the skill set to take on the challenge of more difficult maps, so they pick the simple ones. To avoid a 20 minute delay in the game from map choice arguments, the majority cave to the old standby Skaffa maps.

Skaffa makes kinda boring maps, simple and they work, but boring. If variety is the spice of life neuville is the death incarnate.

This is very well said and very much the truth.

im not hating on skaffa, but im sure if you look at plays Neuville and Forest of both 2v2 and 3v3 varieties are over 9000.

They work, they are fairly even in terms of side advantages.

People have tried to make maps of the same calliber but in the end, people play what people know.

i can ensure you guys when top3 maps were removed and if i recall good doctrines were removed almost at the same time not much people left in launcher. It was god's gift get 3-4 games of 2v2 per day. Basically it was 2p_church or france. As for 3v3 not that much game were played because it were no players to fill a 3v3 game lol

So I numbered up all the maps (seperating by 2v2 and 3v3) and rolled on a random number generator...

3v3
20 = Goodwood
45 = Mcgechens war
23 = Dutch Countryside
5  = Radar Station
36 = Forest

2v2
20 = Brecourt
12 = Church
8 = Industrial Riverbed
16 = Bastogne
10 = Crossroads

Sounds good, should do this Cheesy
Not that I remeber wth Goodwood is, or Feld... musta been gone for some time.
