Please consider making completely new doctrines! Will probably be a lot of work but one new doctrine per faction will give people new things to try. Maybe after the current doctrines are reworked.
Example:
Combine marines and some of the reward tanks like the jackson or slugger or achilles, add like marine flamethrower squads etc and you have a new doctrine.

Hate to burst your bubble but it's really not.
We are talking 21 abilities for 3 doctrines for 4 doctrines. It's incredibly hard to stay creative and keep abilities interesting enough, even when designing doctrines for just 2 factions. And everything has to be balanced on top of that.
Our last doctrine reworks took many months to complete and they likely would once again, unless we decide to go with a different doctrine design approach. (Which we were planning to do for EIR 2 originally)

the biggest problem with designing doctrines is that there cant really be any scar coding( anything complex)
so most of the doctrine would just be % buffs and unlocks.( i think not sure)

look call us all what you want, but inless you have any skills to contribute towards it, its not likely to happen in EIRRs life span. If you bothers to read the previous forum topics you would have seeen this heavily discussed. But by all means katusha go for it man do what 7 other people could not do. Design 21 abilities that are balanced between 3 doctrines and 4 factions.

I still have my final solution plan I've been teasing for half a year.(Yes, It's going to be insiensitivly named, deal with it)
(The remaking doctrines into sub factions with differing unitsets and butchering our current doctrines destroyingcreating best game ever)
I insist on having the craziestbest salvation plan out there.

As far as SCAR is concerned, Xeo is perfectly capable of doing SCAR work, and Niko can do the RGD. In fact, the only real "Hold up" is launcher specific programming which is EiRRMod's department.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.

And the fact that nobody around here has the dedication or willingness to do all of it. I was just gonna post, it wouldn't be that hard if you had a really hard working, dedicated guy with a good design sense and not to much bias willing to spend days if not weeks working on this for little to no gain. Shout if you find one and his two twins because we'd need at least three to get anywhere

Not so much a lack of dedication but more a lack of direction. EiRR has never had a true sense of direction, for it's balance or for it's gameplay.
It has always just made it up as it went along tbh.

I saw you postspieces of this a bit at a time, but I have never seen it 100% complete. Have you actually ever posted this completed before?
