Yea, At crash its either what XII said or the OS, if its Windows 8 then i have noidea, if its its 7 then This And This , That has solved almost all problem that have come up in the past, the only problem all those problems came out before w8.
Also could you post the error Messige that comes up on the crash?
Might be that kernel crap that came up, if thats the case do the 2 other things and This
Ps: the kernel crap is a huge bitch to fix, you can download the kernel off Download sites but i woulnt recomend it, virusies and crap.

Edit: there used to be a super simple Kernel fix thingy that leo taught me but i have noidea how to do now, too long sence i helped new people.

I'm back and ive already checked my .net and .xna. I run windows 7. But I dont know what the OS is. Ill post a pic of the error in a sec.

Are you running the updater from the coh root directory or from a desktop dhortcut ?

Just a thought, but could he be suffering from the problem where CoH installs to the wrong place?

When you point it at your CoH folder to install there, the auto-installer automatically creates ANOTHER CoH folder in that directory, so you end up with a CoH folder inside your original CoH folder.

That could be causing the auto-updater to load up and derp out.

Check your folder where you've installed EiRR to.

Dl the files, move them to your computer, play. No other idea I can give you right now. It will be at least enough to see, if you like the mod... And it's atmosphere

That wont solve the issue, as the dependancies for the Autoupdater are the same for the launcher itself.

Any crash of the actual AutoUpdater itself, is indicative of bad file permissions usually.

My guess is no one has a solution. You have had a problem with other mods, so it appears the issue may be on your end, not ours. At some point we are going to run out of suggestions.

However, also keep in mind that this is not an overwhelmingly active forum, so it may take several days for someone with more knowledge to come by.
In fact, one of our coding gurus is on vacation and will be back next week. He may have some ideas.

K and also, I fixed the only other mod I had problems with. It was just an error in one of its files. I had to download a fixed version of a document.

The error was with EIRR not CoH.

.........This isn't the only mod I've had problems with. Eastern Front and Europe at war gave me some problems, but I fixed EAW. Eastern Front is still ticking me off. ..........

If you still can't get Eastern Front to work, I wonder what our mod & that mod may share in common?
I am just trying to stir up thoughts that may help.
