Any chance that we can have more than 10 company slots? I've used up my limit and there are no bad companies that I can delete. I want to make more companies to try more stuff
Sure code more for the launcher and update the UI

What corps said. Without eirrmod there is literally nothing the current team can do. All we can do is change tool tips and change prices. Basic stuff. We can't redesign the layout of the launcher sorry.
I'd also like to point out that I would change the prices of a few units relative to their buffs and nerfs. Unfortunately, I don't have access to the launcher database. As the only one who can give me access is eirrmod. And niko is Hella busy with work. So there is only so much I can do with what I have.
What I'm hoping is that these updates bring eirrmod back and help us but that's a long shot.
We have released 4 updates in 4 days. Granted, they do have some bugs and some changes were hasty, but it's better than 6 months between updates, or even longer. What I desperately need is you guys to test this shit out and tell me what works and what doesn't. What you think is op and what you think is up. I had to reinstall recently due to not being able to get into games. Which I'm still not sure if it's fixed or not. I'm still waiting on niko how to tell me to set up my battlefield simulation as I can't test shit either. So I'm kinda flying blind.
It is nice these updates are bringing back some old faces though.
Will patch the game tonight with a few changes to the PE changes that I've done. Along with a few new changes.
Please feel free to either pm me bugs or questions. There's dedicated threads too. Everyone's word counts. I just need you to help me.

The churchill is broken atm, pop is 12 according to launcher should be in the 16 range along with all the other heavies, Also something needs to be done about it, Because at the moment its probably one of the toughest heavies to kill, That is unless you are running APCR tank hunters, Its got armor that bounces 88s health that would be competitive on the axis lineup of heavy tanks and now its got a main gun that lets it go toe to toe with a tiger? Do something about this, Also the stuart accuracy is wack and the hmg bren suppression is also quite on the heavy side, Another thing, It should switch unlock slots with the croc now in my opinion, In addition i'd like to see trench busters and the 17 pounder switch slots too, Considering how powerful the current combo of Expert engineers + mkIV + 17 pounder is, People should have to pick and choose like with blitz not get everything they want, Also please dont hit PE with the nerfbat again or at least dont buff commonwealth.

I completely agree with hobomancer, but i'd like to add that the tank reaper damage buff for the atg is way too high (kills p4 with 3 shots) and that the Tiger Ace should keep the toggle commander ability, since its a standart Tace ability.

...................... wouldn't it be wiser to release patch notes of potential changes for 2 or 3 days before they are to be implemented so that actual experience and wisdom can debate the prospective changes?
no, no, no
This is exactly why in the past it would take 6 fucking months to get a simple change done. Not only that, but the vocal minority would skew any kind of reasonable discussion.
We will continue to do short quick patches and amend broken shit as we go. You are basically getting a patch a day right now, so the world will not come to an end if Scotz doesn't fix it NOW, but fixes it later.
The problem with posting patches ahead of time is you guys will just theory craft the fuck out of it.

Common Wealth
commandos 8 sec sprint, 0.8 received suppression, 0.6 when in enemy territory, when upgraded with stens
no one saying about mando, how sad this is.
what's the meaning of 0.6? -receive damage?
and 17p don't need range buff anymore, in my opinion
better buff other things.

I covered this I a previous thread but here goes.
I'm putting out updates and fixes at a rapid rate. The plan is, to get basic units fixed and balanced get some doctrines fixed. I am in no way ignoring anyone's word here. I am listening to all players of all experience, not just experienced players. Certain people's opinions carry more weight than others. Either because of experience or the way they approach their suggestions and evaluation.
In regards to omgniko comments: I am certainly Amoung the elite players of the mod. But I've been here for a very long time. I've seen a lot and usually sat at the back and watched. So I'm experienced enough, thank you. I'm not sure if you are aware that there are 5 different threads dedicated for players old and new noobs to the elites, to voice thier opinion on any relevant thread matter and suggestion. The community is dictating what changes are applied here. I'm sure you know this as you've posted in one of these threads. I shouldn't even need to explain this.
in regards to me making coding changes without community approval, because I want them to have all the cool stuffs, which I assume is what you are getting at, is I'm not really. I made a disicion, I coded it and I increased it to much. I made a mistake, it shall be set right. The community has voiced that I made a mistake and I shall change it. I am in no way telling you all to get fucked and the changes I make are permanent. I can make whatever changes I feel are right. Should the community feel that the change is over the top or not enough then I shall change it. I'm the only active coder right now. I don't even get payed to spend hours sitting here on my free time coding. But I do get pleasure out of it. To be part of a mod people are playing. I want to finish what was started and leave this mod finally finished.
I am a victim of bias, so is everyone.
Again, I am harassing the power of the collective community. See above paragraph. The current deva are me, tank, niko. Niko is currently busy and the timezones we live in are difficult. That's not to say niko isn't involved as he has been recently, but is no where near as active as me.
Then, and only then shall I start tinkering with different doctrines. Not a complete overhaul. But I have plans for them which I shall discuss with tank and nikomas. I pretty much have the final day in what is coded and what isn't. And tank has the final say of whatever I do or don't do. Tank hasn't had a problem with any of the changes I have made yet or he would of told me. I'm pretty sure he's glad that the mod is finally getting updates lol.
In regards to the speed of patching. I prefer to get small other out quick and simply. Or the work load becomes boring and unbearable. Staring at rgds for 6 hours can really burn me out. Again, the community gets a say in everything and anything. I choose to either pay attention or not.
Also hicks is in no way shape or form on the blanc team or even on the device team before you start pointing fingers at him for being bias etc. His say is the one that has impacted most though, as he is amoung one of the people I listen to on changes and stats. His approach to rgds and stats is unparalleled and his ability to not make theorys and crafting them is most welcomed. He is also one of the last veterans that is currently as active as any of you.
I've already mentioned this as well. Since niko is busy, he Is the only one who can make launcher changes. I don't have access to the launcher database and nor do I even know how to change it even if I did. Niko doesn't have time to teach me either. I also can't wait around for niko, or I'm going to get bored and irritated. Unfortunately, I hate relying on other people to complete part of my changes.
Rant over, I shall not be going over all this again. If anyone has a problem with the way that I am handling this, please feel free to talk to tank. If enough people feel a certain way, I'm sure tank will advise me on what I need to change in my work ethics.
Other than that opinions have been taken into account from here and other places and shall be patched tonight and sent to tank. I shall keep doing this until I and the majority of the people of the community feel that the mod is balanced.
Thank you for all the time you guys are putting in to play and test stuff out. It is much appreciated!

FRREEEEEEEDDDDDDOOOOOMMMMM!
Scotz has hit the nail on tue head tho, things will get changed alot quicker with a few small patches a week, rather then the biannual ones we have seen in the past.
Think of EIRs history and how long certain things were broken for and failed to be fixed due to the powers that be waiting for a large enough workload, only to burn out and be put off by said workload.

I'm with Tank and Scotz on this one. Progress is finally being made at a desirable pace. Sure thing you might sometimes overshoot individual unit changes, but it's not much of a problem since you pump out patches so rapidly.
Keep it up!

All hail Scotz <3
I think ST should have the camo or less received accuracy (0,95-0,9) if they start with mp44s. Small tweak, but that would make them more flexible compared to KCH which have better buffs in BK imo.
I was a big fan of moving camo, but yes it was kinda broken :p
EDIT :
Or you can nerf Oak leaves :p Fanticism Oaks are shreading everything on the way and can finish off lvs and tanks with panzerfists
I really enojoy to play with them, but I think about a small vet nerf (Like less 0.15 suppresion on the neutral and enemy territory instead of bonus damage) for them, just saying

The broken thing with Stormies and 2x shrecks, was the alpha strike gibbing tanks. Combined with blitzkrieg they could sneak in gib a tank and then sprint off or chase anything else in the vacinity.
come too think of it not much different from AB RR's minus the active camo.
