Still, as long as your squad has more then 3 members, it's better to have 2% per member, and with 3, it's the same thing.

Problem with the 'old' Cohesion was that you could cheat the system by pulling one man squads out of combat and leaving them in a corner to get the +6% without pulling on your popcap.

I do believe I'll go for tank reapers =D

Though it must be something special in EiR that transfers a units vet over to the weapon they take over, because i don't think it transfers in vCoH.

though as far as arty doctrine goes, that cool 15% quicker cool down only shaves off 20 seconds.

Do you need line of sight to use the off map? It's just that if im going down the arty tree, i will def have a howie on the field, and the howie is just such a commitment once it's on the field since you can't destroy it, or de crew it, you have to wait for the enemy to blow it up. and if you bring it out too early it will just be taking up pop cap when it can't reach far enough. i wish there was a way to move it off field.

No, that happens in vCoH as well.  Sturmtruppen on CoH-stats proved it by getting a Vet3 mortar and recrewing it with Vet3 rifles.

After that game finishes however, you'd just have a Vet3 AT Gun, not a Vet3 AT gun with Vet3 crew.

that's crazy, i would always get upset when I would buy support team vet in vCoH and take over a vet 2 mortar with vet 2 pios, but wouldn't see the little vet symbol, but this whole time they had vet 2 working anyways, haha.

In fact in EiR I'm always cautious to use a vet squad to recrew something, now i'm going to make sure i recrew stuff with vet units.

also does that mean if i recrew an mg42 with a vet 3 rifle squad I will have a super HMG of death! (until the end of the game when it gets turned into a .30)

Yup.

Although some of the Riflemen modifiers aren't good for MG's or Mortars (incoming accuracy, resistance to suppression?).

How about you do me a little favor then stumpster and briefly write up what units with vet should be best used with certain weapons. I could use it in my beginners guide =)

that also makes me think that i ought to have a link to coh-stats in there, and maybe a section about vet in there as well.

I've heard extremely awesome things about Tank Reapers. Ask LuciferNZ about it.

I think Fulltimekiller uses Stacked.

Cohesion I heard sucks cack.

I can only tell you what I've *heard* though because I'm an Armor player  Cheesy

Hey, Lucifer started using TR after I did.

Here; watch this video about Tank Reapers; it might persuade you.

Back in the old days, Pumas took two shots, Ostwinds three. Makes me want to go back to Tank Reapers.

Also, finally figured out what sound track you were using. Universe at War. Did you buy the game or did you just downloaded the music from F.K.'s website?
