There needs to be some kind of set area that it covers.... I thought that if your in your territory (Blue area) you cant be hit... guess not...(map was radar station bottom right corner)
Also maybe tune it down a bit... you dont even have time to turn a unit around before it gets yoked

You have 10 seconds from the time you get the warning.

You have a full 10 seconds from the moment it gives you the warning to get out of the area.
After that; a mine will be auto-placed and detonated right under your unit, then about 2-3 smoke flares will be dropped in for artillery for not heeding the warning.

I got hit with spawn arty in a sector fully in my control on Radar Station.

The spawn artillery works in a radius from the enemy spawn, so it doesn't matter if it's your sector or not.

It's fine, don't get too close. You can still move up no problem AFTER they spawn.

i wonder if it would be possible to use the radius that is displayed when you click on an arty piece to display the radius of the spawn arty on the minimap

You do NOT get 10 seconds. Every time the thing pops up, I have to smash the retreat button, because a mine goes off under my troops as soon as it pops up, and they get artied to hell within 3 seconds. You didn't fix this in the last patch, or did you? I haven't played under it yet...

Not true, you get ten seconds and I have always been successful at walking my troops out of the area in time.

It's a radius? I think most people are under the impression it goes by territories. I know I was.

It's a radius based on the distance between the two closest spawns.

Your realize your telling the man who wrote the system how it works. It's 10 second delay, ALWAYS. You do NOT get 10 seconds. Every time the thing pops up, I have to smash the retreat button, because a mine goes off under my troops as soon as it pops up, and they get artied to hell within 3 seconds. When defending from the right side on Radar Station, you can go up to the tree line to lay wires and tank traps.
When defending from the left side, spawn arty hits you if you try the same.
This is with the middle area's tree line and the gaps between.

Blame the spawn points on the map, not the system then.

Anyways, I blame the spawn points on the map. I did have fun drawing it up in paint though.
