Less than 2 days, I think. Don't you LOVE the ability of the axis commanders to push back the allies, and gain a chance to re-gain France....only to fail miserably in less than 24 hours. This is the stupidest thing I have ever seen, and it just keeps on happening again and again.

i played in a game that started as an attack, yet the flow of battle was switched to a defense by the time we were finished.(someone lost..).. we held the last attack for the german people, and we were successful, sadly it was already decided.

Terrible News! The advance is over and the Allies are counter-attacking! A final foray into the enemy lines was conducted by our 28th Terror (salan) and 306th Terror (RikiRude) divisions in which they fought to continue the advance against the 4th Airborne (Censura) and 128th Infantry (xnoTracex) divisions. Even with this victory the recent losses have been too much and the Allies are already assaulting our positions. We must now try to hold the land we have captured against the incoming Allied Assault! Our defense must hold!

Don't worry though, we planted mines through out the land to slow the allied advance! (Maybe left some hidden goliaths or two as well!)

My available companies:
Allies:
*AB company going for raid assault
  Infantry going for tank reapers
Axis:
*Defensive going for rocket artillery
  Blitz going for lightning war
And an experimental Terror company going for subversion consisting of all volks and two King Tigers

OH MY FUCKING GOD.
ok, ill calm down, A BIT.  ANOTHER FUCKING PATHETIC OFFENSIVE, less than 12 hours, and i was asleep this time....i honestly don't understand how the axis forces can be this pitiful, it truly annoys me that players can lose and lose and lose and join axis, and lose and lose, and then KEEP LOSING. HONESTLY, it is just ridiculous, poorest performance i've ever seen from a "team".

ill fix the post latter.....

Also, I lost a game due to not enough anti-infantry units, so airborne get double damage at each vet level.

More changes to come.

My first forum post (noob Axis player) - but hopfully a helpful one relating to the topic a hand.

Ive played three games won a defense lost 2 attacks in that order (so yes im directly part of the cause of our last floppy forward push Smiley)

As a new player of the mod ive noticed very few (none) tactical guidance notes for players converting from regular COH to EIR anywhere obvious, this coupled with most new players joining the Axis team (so ive read on the forums) would seem to contribute to the problem at hand.

I consider myself an averagely skilled player (rank 7/8 Whermacht in COH no mean feat vs OP Strafe/Rangers/Commandos etc...) & yet i played the worst 2 games of recent memory in my 2 lost attack matches.

The reason I identified (& have now put right) was that I only created a single (balanced - not overly attack or defence orientated) company when joining the mod, not surprisingly on my 2 offensive games after my initial wave of inexperienced Storms & Grens were killed off i found my reserve full of AT guns/HMG/pioneers with Bunker build options not very useful in digging out Vet 3 Yanks well dug in on maps they new well.

Now u may say to yourself how silly of me (& i agree in hindsight) but during the creation process of my legendary suicide company the following thoughts were uppermost in my mind :-

 - OMG look at all the gear i can get straight at the start of the match none of this build order bollocks for me anymore Gimmi it all.

 - If i make just one company & use it every match just think how fast ill get experience ill be rank 3 Vetted in no time (obviously if they survive - which they didn't Smiley)

 - Damn me its taken me ages to pick all these glorious units ill easy win some engagements with this pretty bunch, why on earth do i need two other company slots it'll take me all night to complete those, think ill leave that & just join a match.

So in summary to new players out there build at least 2 companies one for offense & one for defence, im certain it'll improve my play alot.

Thanks for reading

It's my fault.  I utterly destroyed any attempt that you axis made trying to attack the allies.  I was like a brick wall.  Smiley

There is really nothing you can do besides lose the war or defect. =D

I really wish the Axis would make an effective push, I much prefer playing on the defending side of a game.

Then start losing your battles. lol  Tongue

Edit: Or better yet, Join the Axis so you can help the allies go on the defensive again.
