I seriously doubt tank crews would want to clean the human remains from the tank treads.  Roll Eyes

Cozmo already pretty much said it but the crab mine flail can be really devestating. If you time it right you can wipe out a whole KCH squad in the blink of an eye. The trick is not to turn the mine flail on until its on top of the enemy. It doesn't need to wind up or anything, it instantly kills and you can't chase down units since it slows you down. You either kill them straight off, split the squad so it reforms on your flail or trap them.

There are no reports that soldiers getting run over was 'common', so by that fact we need to assume that it wasn't common untill proven otherwise. For all I care this should be taken out of the game but apparantely the devs think otherwise :/.

If a squad was flanked by a tank (as in didn't see it coming) it would probably get a few of em.
If anything having it ingame keeps the other person on their toes, and in hard cover.  Wink

It wouldn't of happened a lot in RL purely because it's nearly always better to simply stand off and shoot men down, instead of getting into a bad situation where the tank commander is at risk or an easy target.

How about just buffing the Sherman with 4 crab flails on all 4 sides, an extra 3 .50 cals for a total of 4 .50 cals, an extra 'peashooter' machine gun in the front, 3 more barrels for shooting, and a flamethrower out its ass?

I think these kind of tactics shouldn't be encouraged, it's exploiting unintended AI behaviour/stupidity.
Running over pinned squads, sure, but this? Cmon, get some skill and kill your enemies the proper way.

I fully agree with you, it's the same dirty tactic as using vehicles to block retreating troops or other vehicles, you could also say that purposely putting your troops on a retreat path to kill a vetted retreating squad is wrong, but people do it, and if other people do it, I want to be able to combat it.

I honestly don't think tanks should be capable of running troops over at all, it doesn't make sense. Yes if you get in front of a tank and stand there and let it drove forward you would get ran over, but people don't get ran over by walking to the side of a stationary tank, hell I did it when I went to that museum and I didnt get crushed!

Also why do people keep talking about the mine flail? I have no problem whatsoever murdering troops with that, I'm talking about actually running troops over with the treads.

Also the stug should have it's coaxial MG43 and the M-10 should have its mounted 50 somewhere.

  Infantry going for tank reapers
Axis:
*Defensive going for rocket artillery
  Blitz going for lightning war
And an experimental Terror company going for subversion consisting of all volks and two King Tigers

Idono, perhaps you should just be glad it's not as bad as it is in C&C Wink but I don't find it bad enough to stop doing it. If I ever see a chance to run over some infanty I'll take it Smiley. In my mind it's a legitimate tactic. It's like I'm sitting there with my M10 and some infantry are shooting me. "Hmm well I could retreat since I won't be able to make a dent with my horrible infantry accuracy of my main gun or I could try to run some over, whatever shall I do?"
