I'm in NY (I was going AR until so many went HY) will prob move to the more experienced server when I get more experienced myself.
Done the training missions and had a mess around, got into a mission I couldn't finish because I ran out of ammo (4 huge ships with repair ticking up) then the server went down.

Will arrange on vent to play, then if it's really a problem using vent here then people can jump on the community Teamspeak server I admin.

The Eir vent is nice since it keeps the community together, id be happy to donate for support of a channel for EIR NF.   I think more so we have a nice community of gamers that is slowly extending outside of EIR but has EIR as its base common interest.

I still thinks its better to keep people togther via a comon platform such as the vent server so you don't splinter and seeing the community seems pretty strong as we wait for 2.0 it would be a shame to splinter it.

Just a few thoughts.  And at least this game is the same genre as EIR is so its consistant with the themes and so on.

/Signed.

You know i can only donate by poorly written Guides and from the Questions i got in my Community helper Duty [CH] there are no specific topics that need a extra guide.
The most Questions are about Doc Choice, but most of the time very specificly, Map installing and latest link and strangly enave i get many questions about other players like "Is saint irish?" O_o

Heh, I only just really looked at your crew Days... how much did all those vets cost you =) And the boosting... =)

Ok, I wrote my little screenshotting application (it took me like 1000x longer than normal screenshots would take.. but was more fun).

Here is my crew so far... first the bridge operators.. the default one using the County and the second one using the York. Still waiting to roll a badass BO so I can name him Phil Smiley Ucross and FL- are still level 1 and probably won't get to be used.

My gunners. The two default ones. Two somewhat better 11/12 and a poor 12/11 waiting for a pair.

A couple engies:

Some repairers

And some pilots.. the poor fighter waiting for better times Smiley

I have the County and I'm saving up for the York. Currently mostly using the Edinburgh, though sometimes I hop into the L-Class for a quick dirty fight Smiley

Don't worry, Z99 is the best DD in the game.

And don't get the Z52, unless you're really short on munitions storage space.

Yeah, Z99 rocks.  So does many of the other germans ships, like the p pro, moltke, etc.  Germany is a great line of ships.

Ucross has a great DD the DDX.  Also the PCA pensacola is great and their CLs and CAs are good.  However, they aren't top notch.  For example the m pro beats all of their CLs and the moltke beats all of their CAs.  Still, the US does get the best carriers in the game.

Basically:

US - best carriers, good all-around
KM - great ships, great fighters, generally less health and less damage but more speed and range
IJN - incredible torps, best battleship in game
RN - best armor, best torp divers, great battleships

Phils whats your build on the edin?

Trip 6" L's.. armor varies. Just for the last few battles I dropped all deck, put on 1" belt and some bulge. Before that I had 2.5 deck and no other armor. Until I get more experts (and vets) on my gunners to improve my spread it doesn't really matter. 1v1 I lose to almost every other ship. I'd still be fighting in the L-Class if I didn't get half the XP.

A shorter version of Ucross rundown:
US - If you want carriers
KM - If you want to own in Blitz (as long as you are willing to pay $5 for the Moltke).
IJN - If you want to Torp Whore.
RN - If you want to Armor Whore in Great Battles.

Once both my BOs reach 61 (which will take some time still fortunately), I'm going to level a 3rd one until all my gunners and support crew also reach 61. After that I might get a CV with weak rushed crew to farm some cash until I can afford the two other tree lines.

The Trip 6L requires level 37. Then at 44 you get the Twin 8D which is another choice for the Edin.

PS.
Go RN if you want to equip guns like this:

Bought it all from other players with credits. My friend was quitting, and gave me most of his credits. So, I bought boosts experts and vets.

I've only spent money on a subscription and a Texas.

A well used Pensacola can do just as well as a Moltke, if it can get in range. Which it usually can in Blitz.    And, I'm sorry, but my Brooklyn shafts MPros hard. And my Cleveland, which has some of the longest range of any CL in the game, ranges the MPro and destroys it with 8" guns.

As for CAs, the Baltimore is a very very good CA. Not the best in range, but dear god, if you get one that blockshots, you're fucked. As for the New Orleans, well, that beast is either an armor whore or a speed whore, you're choice. Equipped with the US CA standard, triple 8" guns.

See, I don't really enjoy KM. The play style gets boring. Run in, shoot out of their range, or if you're crazy in their range, and run out.
