Duplicate IP on Ventrilo

So, to cut to the chase, I've convinced my little brother to start playing EiR, but when he tries to join Ventrilo while I'm on, he can't connect because duplicate IP's are not allowed. I know by own experience (I co-admin on a Ventrilo server of our own) that you can set to allow specific things (like Duplicate IP's) to specific people. Is it possible that the person who admins Ventrilo can set this to allow on my Ventrilo account? If so, my Ventrilo account is called "[Both]Hyperion12121".

Also, the allowance of duplicate IP's needs to be given each time the server has restarted.

Does the EiR server reset that often then? Ours never resets, except when it's being patched.

get a mod to remove your and/or your brothers guest status and make you a regular on vent, and it works. just doesnt work for guests.

Phil just contacted me on Ventrilo about registering my account. I told him what I would like as a password, but I got no response from him.

So, the direct way of asking: Phil, is it done already? Because when I told you the password, you suddenly went away, or something

I just asked, hmm, salan I think.
He said moment, asked me if I want to keep my password, and after a minute told me to relog.
I guess it can work that fast, maybe your just asking the wrong person.

All the accounts i create have the duplicate ips enabled, if you are a guest it might not let you.
