Direct 2 drive. basically buy the game online, and download it to your harddrive. Kinda like steam. |

CoH has a bigger playerbase i believe, coh also has somewhat simplified the game and made it very fun, and eir. |

On our very EiR vent I have ppl CRYING that FoW (singleplayer) is to hard and other players crying that its to easy (how then never played past the first 2 missions and are to stupid to find the tactical mode button)

I was watching some videos on youtube and it just made me want this game to work even more.
It looks like fucking DoW2 set in WWI with the inventory system and loot and whatnot.

For those who buy this of D2D, make sure you patch up to 1.04b because otherwise whenever you roll a tank through a house the game lags like a mother.
Supposedly this patch fixes it
You have to download 1.04 before you can install 1.04b

"Über"Realismen mods, you can fire evry single weapon over the whole map besides the pistol, its fight from spawn to spawn, Btrh has a nice amount of new units, but for your own sake delet the rus.language file.

Yeah I'm assuming the people who say it's too easy aren't playing in tactical mode. I definitely would like to get in some multiplayer with this since...well...since the playerbase is all playing the first version of the game. Apparently everyone pirated it and couldn't update and the only other people who have the latest version besides I do are all Russian, lol. I haven't played a multiplayer game since before the patches came out so I doubt I even remember how to play it that way. |

Probably the same type of people that would cry commandos 2 is too hard. I'm a big commandos fan and while the singleplayer is not really that comparable I did find a lot of simualr gameplay elements. The singleplayer is challenging and that's a good thing, I remember a lot of people complained Soldiers Heroes of WW2 singleplayer was hardcore too.
