Btw with darker i mean the setting at all. Gotham City in The first 2 Movies is always rainy and dark etc Like Gotham City in the Comics, wheres in the latest Movies its looks so goddamn average, same for the Batcave.

Did you see Batman Begins? The batcave was destroyed in that movie, so the one you see in TDK is a temp spot til wayne manor is rebuilt. Also notice that you never see Batman in the day or the light really, only in the interrogation scene. You see Bruce Wayne in the day time, but not Batman. And you say it's so average looking, well Gotham is based on cities like Chicago and NYC, the movie was filmed in Chicago, not to mention that Nolan takes a realistic approach to Batman, compared to Burtons over the top style of film sets. Also things were much more rainy in begins as well and took place in an area called the narrows which i imagine is more of a gotham that you'd imagine.

I think nothing can beat Tim Burton's batman movies, but will have to see this one, if its good then i will surprised to see two recent superhero movies that are actually good (the other being Iron man )

I can guarantee that you will be surprised. The real problem is comparing the two. Burton and Nolan take two totally different approaches to the movie, just how Ledger takes a totally different approach to the Joker. In interviews he's said that if Burton asked him to do the Joker he would of said no, because Jack did a Burton Joker the way it was meant to be, he said he was only going to do the Joker if it was a Joker no one ever had seen before.

Agreed. This batman movie is nothing like the Burton movies. Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are a kind of batman and scenarios that it's like "This is what Batman would be like if he were a real person" you see him have injuries, be vulnerable, you see the joker as this crazed madman instead of a fun loving criminal, there's a lot of dark humor, not silly stupid humor (i.e. acid squirting lapel flower). If you like Dark, you'll love this movie.

I watched it in English, since you all swarmed about it like its decended from God and the raitings are out of the roof, but I think that the movie is Overrated.

I went and saw it there were parts where I was a tiny bit disapointed but other parts that I thought were very good and I thought it was very good overall, lots of action and I'm glad it was longer, nice twists as well. I thought it was oscar worthy *thumbs up*

Well, he blames her death on the cops and mobsters because he believes it was their fault that she died. Because she died based on a 50% chance of either him or her dying, he decides that everyone will have a 50% chance of living or dying. The Joker could have been killed right there.

Two-face blames everyone on her death, batman, cops, joker. The joker manipulates his mind and he goes around seeking justice. It is the same thing that the joker did to everyone he met, he breaks their mind down so that they will believe in anything, and manipulates them. Harvey was already in a fragile state and the joker broke him knowing that he would go out and kill cops.

Anyways, bodybag pretty much explains it, but Harvey wants to prove that Gotham can be saved that they can beat these criminals. Also Harvey told Gordon to keep the Joker at at different jail, said he didn't trust having the Joker at the MCU jail, but Gordon insisted. Also I don't think Harvey wanted Lau to stay at the MCU jail either, Harvey didn't want them at that jail because some of the MCU officers had taken bribes from the mob. Now when Rachael and Dent are both tied up the Joker knows the only person that can get there is time is Batman and he knows that Batman will try to save Rachael so he gives him the wrong address. That's why Dent says "Why are you here?! Why aren't you saving Rachael?"

So anyway Harvey goes crazy because in his eyes the mob and the criminals in Gotham have won, the woman he was going to marry dies, and the people who he thought he could trust (Gordon and Batman) fail.
