Yes, it really is just a console game.  Although, given Halo's past history, I wouldn't be surprised if a PC port came out two or three years down the line.    From those trailers, I'm a little disappointed in Ensemble as it seems to be toned down so far on the RTS level that the game appears to be just drag+right cli...erm, X.  I'll wait for true judgement, but at this point I'm really questioning if it's even worth renting.

I know it was sarcasm, but HEY it's the truth. I bet money that if you took a poll of the entire Halo fan base it would be 75% 10-13 year old no-skill whiny brats and 18-20 somethings frat house beer chuggers. Like anything that is some what underground becomes main stream it brings with it watering down and new comers that don't understand what it's really about. Take types of music, skateboarding, or things like that have cult followings and it's usually ruined once it gets popular, and that counts for games as well. Remember when games were "geeky" or "dorky" ? Now you are UNcool if you DON'T play games. The 17 four eyes that got made fun of when he was modding Quake is now playing against the same jocks that made fun of him when he plays a given FPS. Anyways, Halo is marketed towards an average or casual gamer, which in my opinion don't matter., because that's a part of the market I would rather stay away from.

I hated it when it came out, I hated when 2 came out I still hated it when 3 came out, and now they are putting this trash out?  Its microsoft...they are fucktards and just money hungry, they really dont put anything worth wile out...if some other company came out and made a GUI that even came close to Windows MS would go down because they put out shit software as well.


In short...Microsoft is shit, which means pretty much everything else they put out is shit, and I hate how I am forced to play games on a windows machine since Mac/Unix dont support that many games.

I saw a trailer along while ago and I really was disapointed, I thought this game had alot of potential. Hope they fix things up abit before it comes up. The fact that it looks like every other RTS just doesn't seem to fit the Halo universe to me. They should have done something more original. And Draygon, I thought that Halo 1 was good at least. Halo 2 didn't really add much, I thought 1 was fun to play through. Then again, I played it on the PC not X-box.

The fact that you say the game is shit and takes no skill to play.  It's the classic argument against Halo that uninformed people would use.
