Will eir close when omg launches? or they both will be there , the best option would be to merge devs... no ?

AFAIK OMG is essentially the same code that was used in EiR. It will be stable, I'm sure of it, and the Coders, incl. Bonte (I'm sorry I rallied everyone up to get him banned, UNBAN HIM NOW!) are doing a kick ass job. I'm seen a little video of it working w/ British and PE too, so it'll already have 2 more factions than EiR.

The only thing that will take a while is the fact that they're adding more allied armor, the incoming CoH expansion, and the stupendously massive commander trees.

I thought the O.M.G dev's were using EIR's code as a base, not just snippets? Meh, to be honest i think that EiR will still be the better runner, though O.M.G will offer new things which the E.i.R devs have yet to think of =3
