Acting like a brick wall against the incoming axis flood, the 502nd Airborne (OneOhOne) division stands alone in success. With their last 5 battles all ending in an Axis withdrawl and 6 strongholds successfully defended...

The reason was that at the end of games, when resources ran out, players still had infantry to spam.
Salan wanted battles to go evenly, and we have to admit he succeded at that;
Now, when you run out of Tanks, you likely also run out of Infantry just aswell.

You can just put RBs back into MP to get that lost  2000MP I'm doing it, about there.

That's weird, because that part of the game, where everyone had jsut infantry left, was my favorite part whenever it came about, rare though it was. It forced people to cooperate, use cover, and think very tactically. You never get that anymore. I never have any base infantry in my companies anymore, and I miss it.

After watching many replays post adjustment, I have seen far fewer blob tactics being used late game which is a considerable victory to overall gameplay for this mod.

 the game is a lot more balanced this way w ith  infantryh, tanks, su pport, upgrades etc than before.

in pre-salan balance i'd have at least 20-30 rifles, now i rarely get to 20. Most of those riles wouldn't have any type of upgrade, hell, i might have maybe 2-4 with bar's, but now with just the 16-20 i usually have, at least half of them will half bars. I'd say its the same for axis as well, i see a lot more lmgs and schrecks anf fausts (which was never used b4) i also see more .50 cals on tanks, less HMG's, and people pay more attention to their support weapons.

i think the game is more fun now, heck, it's evidenced by how many people are playing and a lot of new guys i've never seen b4.

Yeah i agree, games so much more balanced than it used to be.
And for those who like more infantry, as bodybag noted.

10 k just means more units - and that fuel now effectvly stops tank spam.

I have the opinion that we went a bit to far into the tank focus. Spending 80% your res around Tanks and Anti Tank is not the way i like it.

A small step towards inf, please?
