Since there was a discussion before about new players not being able to compete with companies that have seen something like 20+ battles. Don't know who to PM so sorry about making new threads. What is the CURRENT idea for balancing this out if there is one. Are people just going to get 50 CPS and 25 rbs or has this been changed now. I just need an explanation of what is CURRENTLY being used is all.

Basically, a new company will gain 2 CP's and 1 RB for each day the war has gone on.  I think we're at day 16, so you should get 32CPs and 16RBs.  There isn't a 'balancing' mechanism for fighting high-experience companies however, so I'd recommend at least trying to get games with those who don't have gobs of games under their belts.

It is a total myth to say that players with new companies cannot be very successful v. older companies.  I have tested and proven this many times.  Experience in the mod has everything to do with success, not the vet or doctrine abilities.  When good VCOH players cross over they have almost instant success... the opposite is true with average to poor players.

EIRRMod is working on some new things to address this she says.

Of course new companies can win, its just that if two players are of approximatly equal skill the one who has played 6 games a day since the begining of the war is most likely going to win against the brand new company - this is the case at the moment but if you take away free rbs and cps the new player will not be competative at all.

There are after all some examples of low skill players gaining a decent chance of  winning by ... well spamming games

Removed hints to players name, not needed as it only serves to incite attacks against that player - Akranadas

Please don't start a hang bag fight.

I deleted posts because they obviously thought I was joking about the above line, or didn't quite understand it. Please don't start flame wars (aka, hand bag fights) or try to spam this thread with dribble. I don't think I'm asking much of you guys.

Also: Don't go back and edit your posts to try and get around what I kindly asked you to do. Come on, can we act mature for once?

new companies can win with old companies if

old companies got no vet currently

new company players know how to play

the cp is not the problem because you get cp after time

Last saturday I beat hansimaus with a fresh allied infantry company and he was using his main company, pure vet 3 units, and no, cps and vets don´t decide a game, I´d post the replay but I don´t have the battle number because it was a 1vs1...

Vet and Doctrine abilities may give you the edge, but good players with fresh accounts can deal with this.
