Alright, time to out yourself. I know there is hidden 40k gamers (the real tabletop, not dawn of war) everywhere, so who is in here. I haven't played it in quite some time now, although I did often when I was younger. Kinda grew out of it. But my Guard is still ready for any 1v1.

But I don't just wanna know that you play and which faction, I wanna have your army list right with it. Nothing specialised against a specific race or build, just a general army list you would write up when you don't know what you`re up against. Give me tournament size, 1750 points.

I used to play an Iron Warriors Chaos army a couple of years back. Aparantly Iron Warriors have been taken out now though which is totally lame considering I have 2 basilisks =/

I have $300 Dollars worth of Unpainted Eldar Models sitting at home in a box under my bed.

When I go home for Xmas, I shall rescue my Eldar and then paint them up as Ulthwe. Complete with massive amounts of Guardians, Warlocks and Farseers. I haven't looked at them in over a year, so I can't actually say what the army list will look like when they are done at this time.

But Apex; Very Impressive. I also thought you'd be a Imperial Guard Player. Wink

I usually throw in some inquisition elements, when I know what I'm up against. Some Grey Knight Terminators when I play against Chaos, a couple of Seraphim Sororitas versus Space Marines, or a squad of Deathwatch Exterminators against Xenos, like those pesky Eldar  Wink

If I get shot and it's a gay medic fixing me up, he's not gonna be fondling my balls while he does it. You can't patch a chest wound and suck a cock at the same time.

Ex-Nurgle player here. I think I used Typhus and I spammed plasma guns and plaguebearers. Either way it was pretty much unstoppable.

APEX, that's a pretty badass IG force there!

Back when I was in high school I had an Ultramarines company.  That was back in 2nd Edition rules (and a little bit of 3rd). I never finished the army but I did have:

HQ: Command squad led by captain in terminator armor with powersword and storm bolter; standard bearer, apothecary, veteran sargeant, 2 troops

ELITES: 5 man terminator squad; Vindicare Assassin

TROOPS: 2x Tactical squads with flamers and missile launchers; 10-man scout squad with 2x snipers, 2x bolters, 2x shotguns

FAST ATTACK: 5 man assault squad; bike squad; land speeder with Heavy Bolter and Meltacannon

HEAVY SUPPORT: 5 man devastator squad, Predator Annihilator

I stopped because I never had anyone to play with and it was expensive.  I really wanted to make a sweet Cadian company, but never got around to it and after DoW came out I could get all the warhammer I wanted without having to buy and paint them.

That's how it all started. Dawn of War is based on the tabletop.
