1. Will there be balance fixes for current doctrines & unit pricing with this release?
Its probably a bit pointless doing that until we've had the new factions in the game for a little bit to see how it all works out.

Canister shot > Persistency

During all the games that was the only one that wiped a squad (and I used them...err, 'aggressively' Tongue).  All of the others left people in the targeted squad still...and one of them just decided to miss the squad entirely and shoot a tree instead.   Undecided

When released, the current doctrines will be temporarily disabled and we're going to focus specifically on unit balancing.  So there will be much more balance interaction than previously, and the balance patches should come faster than before (AKA faster than none-at-all).  Tongue

Dude,

The movie clearly shows more than 1 person playing it... the mini map on the lower left looks like they are using EIRs current capturing system,  The tactical overview shows 4 players moving separate units... i believe it is well past what one person could "stage" or what OMG could be bug hunting.... could be wrong though.

only thing i want to know is when its coming out. i think this will ensure a very long future for  EiR despite OMG trying to replace it. EIRRMod just wow finally a dev who gets things done. ( not counting FL because he created this thing lol)

Damn, am I the only one worried about EiR:Sim City edition? Well, it will all be determined by the execution, so just as a caution to E, don't kill EiR by allowing every game become a brit lockdown. It would be a sad thing to see happen to EiR. Brits ruin CoH, lack of 2.0 has protected EIR until now.

In vCoH the only counter to brits is to not give thme time to set up (which is a horrible balancing flaw, retarded relic), but defensive times in EiR could mess this up drastically). Anyway, I'm not saying that OF EiR can't be done, just sayingbe careful how you do it, or people may end up whining for you to take them out.

Aside from all that, good job, its nice to see things getting done.

Brits are the reason I hate playing wehr now, I used to love wehr v american play.

But anyways this looks awesome. I can't wait to see how this compares to OMG.
