Right i recently found this site and like many others want a faster comp when using vista but dont want the hassle of uninstalling it and updating drivers ETC so have a look at this.....

Vista is horrible, you you try to use it like XP and don't understand all the new features. At first it was meh, but now that they've patched it and I've learned some things it works fine.

let me put the small changes like disableing all vistas desktop eye candy: before played COH on low settings and still lagged now: high everything with 0 lag i'm fucking loving it!

This is going slightly off-topic now, i think.. Anyhow...

I've personally heard varied things about Vista such as it being a memory hog and being overcomplicated. However, i've also heard that it *isn't* a memory hog (as long as you have a decent system) and that Vista is highly secure....

I've yet to actually use Vista, so i'll be looking forward to checking it out when i get my new PC over x-mas.
