Availability of units will be covered in depth and discussed in another release; keep an eye out for that if you have concerns where units themselves come in.

Universal currency,
spendable on doctrines, RB's, veterency.
No limit on the amount of VPs gained per day.

Well that was the idea from day 1.  Having them split into CPs and RBs didnt make much sense.  Now the player will have various choices in where to spend the points.

Theres more to it than that, but they will be covered at a later date.

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

"Do I buy a tiger which will most likely and definitely under this system be hunted to its destruction at any cost?"
How is that any different from now?

Let's just say that the days of suiciding a unit like the tiger blindly into your enemy will actually have some consequences in following matches.

With pp gain each match and the cost to replace them, it won't be the super hindrance that some folks perceive.

Anthony is correct in this thread.  Nice to see you to m8 o/

Because suicide tigers are such an incredibly common occurrence..... I have rarely seen expendable tigers too, if you use them that way you don't use em for long. But we will see, I will withhold further comments until it's fully released, so they can be ignored once again!

Good to see that EiR:R copies ideas from OMG, and OMG copies ideas from EiR :p.

I think you should wait untill you see the full picture before truly judging it, and you'll be seeing the full picture pretty soon Smiley. That being said, I'm sure the concerns have been noted!

Who is being negative? I think it's good that some (good) ideas are copied from copetition,
when 2 fights always that third has profit from it. The EiR / OMG community can only gain something from this competition. If not OMG probably we could be waiting another year for EiR 2.0.

Don’t be afraid of change. If it wasn’t for change we would not be playing EiR but vanilla CoH. If it wasn’t for change we would still be playing C&C…

Still some changes sucks though...  Smiley

I am liking the prestige system, it reminds me of Panzer General  Cool

I have a question about it, however - it was mentioned in the OP that Veterancy can be purchased with PPs, does it mean that veterancy can no longer be acquired from combat, or does it mean that spending PPs is another way of gaining veterancy ala Panzer Generals Elite Replacements (in PG, if your unit suffers causalities, its experience is dilluted by fresh recruits unless you buy elite replacements).

but i have 1 note: wouldnt it be better if people get more PPS if they play against more exprienced companies?

All these new systems are pretty interesting, in fact I have stopped trolling the forums to say well done.

I believe you'll be getting more information on that in one of the next episodes.

Ritter has a point.

If a player of the same level of skill as another plays more often, he is actually decreasingly rewarded for it assuming he is anything except "highly" skilled. This encourages casual players to REMAIN casual, or else their playstyle will not be supported...

I think that might end up resulting in a self-dug hole people won't appreciate.

As I see it, casual players have the following reason(s) not to play as much as more 'competitive' people.
1) Lack of interest
2) Lack of time (and space?  Roll Eyes)
