if this was $20 i would most certainly get it as well. it's qutie hard for me to not buy it, steam pops up i see it, i hear how OP these new units are, EIRR mod hinted that they may add these units to EIRR (if relic ever gets their head out of their ass and helps us get mods working) i feel like I NEED to buy this. its especially tempting to just buy it from D2D and plug in the cd key they give. not to mention impulse has it for $2 cheaper!

I wouldn't mind the content at all if it had appropriate pricing and balance!

I'm glad that they finally added a up-front cost to it.
The extra MP that you now have to consolidate means PE don't capture as much territory or maintain it. When PE had an extra 2 squads or tank on the field you'd only be pressured for population to call on the jadgpanther. All this extra cost did was make PE more gimped than the last nerf they received. Wehrmacht didn't change at all with this extra cost added to the KT
Previously, you were gimped for a total of five minutes, in which the call in deducts 100 MP/min from your income. Buying a Ranger squad would gimp you just as much as the KT, considering you pay up front 400/0/0/0/0/0 MP in comparison to 0/100/100/100/100/100 MP. Note how the 0 MP cost allows the JagdPanther to add to your already-full-strength army, giving the Allied player a massive disadvantage in capping, territory, or even fighting.
A Tiger/Pershing requires a gimpage of...900 MP, all up-front. You have to shorten your army, actually give up territory, before you
get
the super tank. Notice how the up-front cost of the tank allows the opponent to fill his army with 900 MP of AT units even before your tank hits the field, with the only difference being the time of the call-in. And notice how this call-in doesn't add to your army*, and is merely a different way to spend 900 MP.
In short, the Allied player got a extra nothing in 2.301. Which is why this patch is good.
I'm also not sure why you said that PE is even more gimped, though. They reverted a ton of PE nerfs from patch 2.401 (?), according to GameReplays. Be it by accident or design, I don't know...
*Not technically true, but I can't think of the words I want to use at the moment. You get the idea, hopefully. I'll edit it more when/if I think of the correct words.

Impulse still shows 27 $ as price for me (thats 20 euros) and they sell to most euro countries now, unless your country gets it later (like France which gets it the 24th streetdate). So check it out!
Thats because all the french copies (with no cd keys cuz we all hate the french) ended up in canada

relic really needs to adjust the tank gun settings, at least on penetration and damage areas and do away with all these silly modifiers and "Balanced"
all 75mm guns should be 87.5 - german american and brit - the two mardars are out of control, one with 250 and other with 150..
the 76mm upgun sherman should have same exact numbers as the m10 gun.
firefly should have better numbers than 56 - 88 and panther gun, but below the L88....
thats just a few of the barf setting relic has, which basically has thrown me off the game really.

They should also make it so its realistic, and that any penetrating hit kills your tank! YEA!!!
Also, not all guns of the same size had the same performance.

^ what he said. Some guns fired the shell faster some farther, just because it fired the same size shell, doesn't mean the gun firing it was the same. Just like there's lots of V8 engines but not all have the same performance.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

What about an Upgun upgrade for the IST that turns it into a normal P4?

I like it semi-castrated, more charming and suits the PE nicely.

While the calibre of the weapon usually sets a certain level of performance, they are not exactly the same.
Penetration performance at distances (assume fixed distances and slope) varies according to the length of the weapon and efficiency of the round. A simple comparison for length of the weapon, simply refer to M4 Carbine and the M16 rifle. Both are almost essentially similar weapons, firing the same rounds but due to the shortened barrel length, the M4 carbine has a lower muzzle velocity than the M16, resulting in lower penetration.
The round can also vary. A very simple example would be comparing HE rounds to AP or APCR rounds.
While the american tanks have 75mm calibre guns, it was generally weaker than the german guns of similar calibre due to the difference in rounds and weapon length. Even then, the german guns of similar calibre all have different performance. Go check out the 7.5cm (or 75mm) KwK models, 37, 40 & 42.
